the mod is supposed to give 100% protection when wearing a hazmat suit (if i didn't misread anything). had the blue hazmat suit on with mask (build 41) and my char still got sick. just wanted to mention it. been using this mod for a long time now. thanks for the work

mm the new vainilla mask are good and balanced but idk why i feel this mod has something that everyone needs. so you plan to update this mod or change something to make it compatible with the new vainalla mask or something?

Hopefully this mod will be updated for Build 42, it is one of my favorite mods. Please, when possible, I would love you to update it :)

Doesn't seem to be working with Authentic Z gas masks any more. Just tested in debug and vanilla gas masks are working.

@AndrewMV i added it to a pre existing save, seems to work for me. didnt break my game or anything. project zomboid is pretty good in that regard. if youre ever unsure you can just back up your saves

@Everyoneplays did some digging and I think it's just what the visor falls under as a wearable item, its a mask type so it doesn't fall off your face when falling, hope this helps.

Does the "Nuclear Biochemical Mask" also fall under the same protection quality as the regular gas mask?

(Figured Id ask seeing as its not mentioned in the mod disc)

Yeah there's a bug with Brita's armor pack... The Police PAGST helmet visor is recognized as a gas mask instead of a visor so I can't wear it for the protection without my endurance suffering

For some reason the Gas Mask from Authentic Z has stopped working for me. The Vanilla gas mask works just fine though.

Unsubbed and resubbed from Authentic Z and This mod and tested it with only these 2 mods.

A Gas Mask really is essential when picking though the remains of a horde you just gunned down.

To the folks saying the mod doesn't work, it does if you are using the right mask. I noticed that in my modded game there were 3 varients of the base "Gas Mask" there was the vanilla mask, one from AuthenticZ and one from Monmoth County. The one from Monmoth County that I found didn't work but the vanilla one did. Be sure to check at the bottom of the description window for the item. It will tell you which mod it's from.

PSA: If you're using KATTAJ1 Military Pack (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3079948242) then you need to add "Base.Military_MaskHelmet_GasMask-M80" to MaskEfficiencyTable in WorkingMasks.lua. Otherwise it will let you accumulate corpse sickness as normal.
