Tbh without edits to the model to add more geometry to add depth it looks like the headcrab just has a gnarly tattoo, rather than the implied effect of the headcrab being tightly "sucked" against the skull of the human underneath.

The skull is FAR too visible, and I think it would make more sense (and look better) if the skull didn't have it's jaw visible.

Also if the skull was moved down.

I actually heard that was kind of impossible for hecu reamastered as well. I guess you could just make compatible with BMCER then.

Can you make Elizabeth Edwards HL1 head crab mod compatible with BMCER and HECU marines realism remastered. I kind of like that head crab model better considering its not default half life 2 head-crab but re-textured. There is a mod that makes it compatible with bmce but not with these mods. Thanks and keep up good work.

I don't think it's meant to be a "translucent skull". It looks more like it's supposed to be the headcrab's skin stretching over the skull

I would lower the opacity and mess around with some different blend modes. It looks like a png put on top of a texture, the original model has it subtly implied but definitely there, this is just definitely there. (To be clear, not trying to be mean, just genuine advice for something I genuinely like.)
