I've been running this mod without issues, only gripe is it happens a bit too frequently so I can pretty easily murder masses of vassels with a high prowess character, but I am wondering if running this and say, "more single combats" is redundant
The rest are on your end, I'm afraid. Some of your mods are incompatible. CBO is not a Workshop mod and are not responsible for, nor able to observe, how it affects your game
Send your knight to fight the bodyguard (it wont end well for your knight) otherwise enjoy the reward of one-shotting the commander for beating the bodyguard yourself
It was what the OG modder (Digosho) intended and we won't change that

People reported bugged commander duel in the past, but they never even got to fight the bodyguard and its usually because of conflicting mods or broken download
While sometimes you retain your battle gear outside of war, I'm afraid its not a problem for us. You'll change back to default gear later
Update 1.17 is here. Changelogs:
- Fixed the issue of random generated knights being of wrong culture and faith, now theirs should match the enemy army owner's
- Gaining legend seeds from winning duel against Emperor, Head of Faith, or Genghis Khan should now work
As this update doesn't change or add anything related to combat system it should work with previous version (1.16), just ignore the incompatibility warning. Again, if it bothers you, follow these steps:
1. Go to the mod folder
(Directory: (Steam folder)\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\2749369153)
2. Open "battlefield.mod" file (its supposed to be "descriptor.mod") and change 1.16.* to 1.17.* in the supported_version entry

Some stuff still needs testing like the Akom/Akan knights are now replaced with someone whose culture/faith combo are player' or ally leader's instead of enemy's, and players are supposed to get legend seed from defeating an Emperor, Head of Faith, or a Genghis Khan in duel
We also need confirmation on whether weapon artifacts don't get their killcount added, because I checked it myself (extract save file -> search weapon name -> search "artifact_weapon_var" entry and check the number divided by 10000) and either this isn't the case or I might have misunderstood the report

@Coach I actually haven't paid any attention to it since I've been playing on 1.15 version, but I never touched the audio files ever. Could be a case of mod clashes or corrupted download but I'll look into this
Those sounds were extremely satisfying. I remember there was a sound for sword executions, axe and hammer maybe. I re-installed the mod now after a long break and unfortunately im not hearing anything now. Has this feature been removed?
Whenever I send a champion to deal with the interceptor even when there is a 15 even 30 prowess advantage not to mention a lot of positive prowess perks to boot the RNG percentages are ALWAYS above 50% wounded (and rest killed) for my knight. Never ever a knight I send has a chance to succeed. I do not know if this is by design or if there is some miscalculation going on but the fact remains that whenever I go after the enemy commander it is GUARANTEED that my knight will either be killed or wounded.
Can you elaborate on this pls.
On Multiplayer: This mod has never been fully compatible with MP, and any fix is not planned to be made any time. Anyone wants to fix it themselves can start a new session with only this mod active and read the error.logs file

Again, anyone willing to make a compatch are absolutely allowed to do so in their own separate modpage. Just post the address here in the comments so we can host it in the descriptions
I don't think it was designed for MP (i think the duel engine need some cut and someone that can playtest with 2 pc that have both the game while changing the code) In that case i can't.
The regular issue is data transmission usually you will see a player way slower than the rest of the herd and that cause desync. (because the laggard send data that is obsolete)
