If yall ain't getting NPCs make sure to check if you have a SPID faction. Otherwise they won't spawn.

Yes I have found this mod also causes issues with industrial overhaul ores, I am guessing due to what MystikDragon has mentioned.

idk if sheep and cows are from this mod but any NPC that are supposed to be considered Neutral are tagged as enemies so every non-hostile NPC is shot at regardless if target neutral is turned off or on

Bring Back Cyberhounds overrides the EarthLike def to adjust the creature spawn radius. Make sure the Cyberhounds mod is placed below (above on DS) in the mod list
This is taken from the better deep scarce stone mod

whats funny Patrick is i tested every mod and then this mod + better stone and it indeed does revert the ores. So its either this or one of the required mods automatically installed with it.

FluffyHusky, that seems very unlikely. This is just an MES mod that spawns AI Enabled spiders. Neither of those conflict with Better Stone.

Wolves do not spawn. Been playing on earthlike for a few hours, wolves never spawn. I have the dependencies loaded before this mod in the load order, so... Yeah... Something I gotta be aware of or am missing?

For anyone having issues getting Zombies and such to spawn on modded worlds or at all, something I found that works:

It seems Keen changed how the SPID faction gets generated, it used to be at game start from memory, it's now when the first vanilla spider spawns.

Why does this matter? Because most of the creatures in this pack try to get assigned to the SPID faction, if it doesn't exist it fails what I suspect is a spawn condition.

The fix is simple: Edit your save to add SPID from another clean Alien start save that has had at least one spider spawn to generate the faction.

After that, I never had any more issues with missing creatures from this mod.

Nevermind resolved sorry, figured out it was an issue because "Cyberhound" was missing in the AIEnabled config as an eligible bot type for some reason. Adding it fixed the issue.

Are Cyberhounds seemingly broken for anyone else with this mod? Some complaints in the logs, and even repeatedly spamming /MES.Spawn.Creature.<SpawnGroupName>(I forget the spawngroup name right now) doesn't appear to do anything that I can tell. The spawn groups are showing up in /MES.GESAP though

I am only able to interact with spider bodies within a second of them dying. After that they are un-targetable.

I have noticed that the green spiders have much more HP than the others, the cyberhounds also have huge amounts of HP, is there any way to set this or reduce it? Green spiders and dogs can easily withstand 80 gatling bullets (large ship).

Is there a way to reduce the health of the spawned npcs. They can tank multiple shots from various vanilla (large grid) gatling turrets. It really sucks having them fire 15 secs on just one enemy, wasting large amounts of ammunition

Same, No creatures and NPCs whether they be custom or vanilla will spawn and my planets are completely void of any NPCs including vanilla as a result. Only NPCs I can get are the randomly generated ones spawned in through the spawner provided by AI Enabled which isn't the same as encountering them out in the wild. I hope we hear an answer as to how to fix it soon BC it sucks not being able to have NPCs.

Doesn't work for me. With all the necessary mods installed my world is completely void of any NPCs at all whether they be humanoid, custom or the vanilla creatures. Only NPCs I can get are the randomly generated ones that spawn from the spawner provided by AI Enabled but the naturally spawning vanilla spiders or wolves are completely missing and any custom NPCs that are supposed to spawn naturally in the world are also missing as well. A total bummer really, I have no idea why it isn't working as I'm pretty sure I did it all correctly.

This mod makes the game freeze and stutter on high end pcs after a few hours into the game... shame because it really gave some spice.
After disabling it, the game went back to being smooth :(

You can adjust the spawn rate through MES, There are Wolves which are passive and Cyberhounds they're SPRT pets which are hostile. Also once again Keen was the one who had a "Combat update" seems like they didn't test their new weapons against npcs lol. ALSO their new artillery weapon isn't explosive, it works like a over-glorified sniper rifle lol. I tested Weapon core they can hit them but not vanilla weapon system.

Build walls/traps or build troops they're only animals in the end.

The hounds spawn in and attack me every so often, they aren't passive like you said in the description, also none of the warfare turrets can hurt them? they fire and burn though all their ammo doing no damage.
