To be honest, the deadly field is an addition that has two meanings: light and a small barrier. This field can help you find the velocity to reach the top platform. But I can agree that the field is useless hah :D

What was the point of the death gate thing? I was able to solve the puzzle without using it entirely. Was it meant to serve some purpose?
