Is this still being updated? It is truly a new way of using GMOD Npcs and I am a huge fan, it is just a pain to see the walking animation being sped up and some weapons not making noise :(

Putting it simply, as of right now, this addon is basically defunct anyways. A lot of things are changing.

Considering most of the content is packaged so that I can't reupload any of it without breaking TOS, nor am I an experienced model creator/animator/texturer (at least, at the time I wasn't when I made this) to make my own models for use, that is unfortunately unavoidable. I am, however, looking into overhauling this addon entirely.

However, even then to avoid issues, there will still be dependencies. I have already edited and created a new version of the Knight Solaria model for use as well as overhauled the weapons used in the addon.

Currently when entering the knight the npc still remains on the ground and doesn't disappear.
And the walking animation for the knight is sped-up and goofy-looking.

Yes. It uses weapon models from the Astartes, Mechanicus, and Special weapons for viewmodels, sounds from the walking vehicles and vehicle code addons, and a lot of effects from the code and design one. If I reuploaded these, it would be against workshop rules, and frankly, I do not feel like getting anything deleted or terminated because of that.

Anything else in this addon itself is either edited, sounds I've ported over into file formats for source to use, or materials and textures I've made or edited.

A simfphys vehicle would possess issues with clipping and handling rough terrain. As for Mech Assault... that is a certain possibility, and even something I'm looking into right now, but when I started this I didn't know a single thing about how to code on the Mech Assault base.

That's an interesting way of describing the run of the model. Unfortunately, I am no model maker. I cannot modify the animations. I advise using PAC3 instead to alter the speed of the model.

The Scion MIU SWEP is capable of spawning the Knight NPC as well. Left click to spawn it at your crosshair, right click to spawn it above where your crosshair is.

First question, how can we spawn the knight like you do?

And when i spawn the snpc and i take control of it he run like a simp, i don’t know if i have an issue or if it’s an animation problem and so may i know if it will be patch?

Yeah. That's an unfortunate issue due to my lack of knowledge on modeling and animation work. Again, it's a beta. I've personally found success with PAC3 when it comes to fixing animations, but that's purely an external solution that's dependent on the players. I intend to fix it, as soon as I figure out how.

The movement is similar to the standard player model.

If you have any type of addon that stops your playermodel from being changed, that would cause it. Addon conflicts are gonna be likely with this addon, so I'd recommend enabling just this addon and the required ones, and see if that works first.

Ok, i was using that and thought there was a problem, because when i enter third person, instead of being a giant imperial knight, i am instead a giant version of my playermodel, how could i fix this?

The utility panel just does those two things right now. It may do more in the future. As for third person, I recommend the Simple Third Person addon.

This addon allows full customizability over how your camera is positioned, which is helpful when most third-person addons aren't really meant for a giant mech of this size.

@speksgod 2, Because these addons are likely others you'll already have if you play on a Warhammer 40K server. They contain things like sound files, view models, textures for the view models, and other things that I don't really feel right repackaging with the addon. Technically, it's completely functional as it is now. You'll just see a bunch of errors and missing textures in first person. It's entirely up to you.

@[IG] Loginnathan, As for what servers this is on, this is now a publicly released addon. This is definitely *meant* for WH40K servers, but... I mean, I can't really say what servers this is on because I don't really know.
