i was hoping for a railgun, not an op crossbow. kinda dissapointed.
I was thinking maybe add like a lighning storm effect on firing it, that lasts for about half a second? make it feel like an actual rail gun

yes very powerful. primary focus right now is 1. accuracy and 2. projectile velocity (with minimal resitance to gravity). And perhaps It would balance to limit power to headshots only :)
