Hi, does the mod conflict with sensor and traps mod? As for now I didn't find the magazine yet, haven't try book store or library yet. Normal book shelve don't seem to spawn.

can i pair a single control for 2 gates?

anyone still using this mod on b41? i host a dedicated server and just read the magazine and crafted both the gate component and the gate controller but when i walk to my gates in my base there arent any option to install, i have tried various positioning, inside of the gate/ outside of the gate/ gate opened/ gate closed/ left side/ right side/ middle etc...... please help Many Thanks

i have the same problem, i can't drop the car battery,iread all suggestions but the container doesn't appear. perhaps it conflicts with mods that i have, pity i will like to have it,

I’m not able to make this work either.. I have made remote and gate motor, but no options to install it on the gate or door!?

I have propane torches in inventory, but it is asking for a blow torch?

"Install Components" option doesn't exist on for me, hoping this gets fixed

I managed to get another gate to work (from New Builds Plus).
Haven't tried the garage doors, but you could give it a try>

You need to craft a controller using a screwdriver, radio transmitter, 2 scrap electronics, 1 battery unit, and 1 duct tape unit after reading the magazine. Crafter Helper works wonders.

You can rename the gates by clicking on the right side gate mechanism. It allows you to unlock the gate and change the name. It is also where you pair the controller to the gate. The gate needs to be open to interact with the battery compartment.

I have now spent all day looking for the magazine "All about Automatic Gates" in different cities but can't find it Is there an additem command to drop it?

Conflicts with 'control shift:go' mod, error on control right click on loot inventory. Shame, that mod is essential to me.

The mod is very good but it would need some improvements such as being able to change the names of the controls, being able to reuse controls from broken doors and being able to use 1 control on several doors.

I've installed gate components, and managed to put a charged car battery inside. Its not giving me the option to craft a 'gate controller' though? Only let me craft gate components.

i suggest adding the ability to connect the gate to generator as alternative to battery since its kinda annoying to replace the battery

This mod is amazing. The only thing I'd ask for is the ability to rename Gate remotes.

Works perfectly on a regular wooden Double Door. Followed instructions point by point, no issues. (Have not tried copying controllers for multiple cars or to make different gates automatic yet).
Search for "Controller" to find the controller and "Gate" for the Gate components.

Does this work? I'm having no luck...

For anyone having issues getting the car battery into the gate, go to the far left corner of the exterior side of the gate, that's the only "block" registered as a container, you don't have to "install" the battery, just plonk it into that inventory

For the person that is not working, they must go to the door and a wooden container must appear, there they place the standard battery of the vehicle...

Great mod. Be cool if there was a way of assigning hotkeys. I have 2 auto gates inline acting as a type of airlock to a base.
