@Susalini Russian should still be working. Some other users have reported issues with load orders. Where my mod isnt loaded or another mod overwrites my mod. Could you verify that my mod is loaded last? Otherwise the settings may not apply

Do home videos also show a boost? I don't think they made the list, but they also gave bonuses.

@Nomadic Steppe I just tried on 42.7 and it worked for english and Spanish (es) on an old and fresh save. Did you notice if some tapes are working and if some are missing?

During patch 42.2 / 42.3 it worked for me, I play in Spanish, but, with the following patches it has never worked for me since then.

The skill names changed in B42. Z-Squad S2.03 used to give Mechanics and Metalworking.
In B42 the old Metalworking is now Welding. So the XP given is Mechanics and Welding. The tag on the tape added by this mod is currently incorrect. Not a huge deal just an inconsistency I've found. P.S. @Läderlappen Thank you for all your hard work this mod is a must for my playthrough.

@dark_nuage I've very sorry. It is not my intention to cause any problems. The updates right now was a bit of an edge case because the upgrade to build42 and some internal changes with how project zomboid handeled their encodings (everything broke for build42 except english). Hopefully, I shouldn't have to make any new changes for a while

@Blessed Mother The reason it works is that the game objects (VHS in this case, but it is the same for everything) in the game has ID's such as RM_65319278-26d8-4433-a447-04f8dd0c79c0. When the game starts, it loads the relevant localizations from the relevant folder in \media\lua\shared\Translate\... and stores them in a database. When the game's UI needs to display the object, it performs a lookup to find the text string associated with that ID. Because I am overwriting the translations with my mod, my updated text strings get displayed :) If you need any more help then you can add me on Steam

I am trying to learn more about PZ modding and was wondering how you achieved adding in the labels to VHS tapes? How does making the lua file and adding in RM_65319278-26d8-4433-a447-04f8dd0c79c0, for example, cause it to connect to the game files and add in "[Carpentry] VHS: Woodcraft E1" to the VHS tape? Thanks!

As far as I’ve heard (might be wrong) no new skill vhs tapes has been added and this mod should still work. I will regardless fix any issues once I can :)

Hi this looks like a great mod, i was just wondering if this mod is not savegame compatible as i added it mid save and the vhs names are unchanged.

This is something that most people are unaware of, but its possible watch vhs in cars,
