I'm making my own map according to DOC Cassia's guide. But I can't deal with the camera. Thank you for your answer, I will continue to experiment.
For creating your own workshop pieces, I would definitely recommend DPC Kasia's Workshop Guide (found on the general Mini Metro Guides homepage). There are demo files available for download under the "City Basics" section, which resemble the Rio De Janiero Workshop piece. These are a great starting point and can be used as a reference to make your own content.
Hope this helps.
Is it possible to download your map somewhere (or at least city.json). And then I make my own map and I can't figure out the "startArea" setting.
Thank you very much in advance!
The map is, as many have astutely pointed out, not accurate to the globe we live on. It is inspired by renditions such as that shown in the second image! Scaling for less ocean gives there more space for stations and networks to generate! A eurocentric final result maybe, but a fun one nonetheless.
If you have any thoughts for future map ideas, why not suggest them? Perhaps you'd want a more realistic Earth map, or perhaps some more continent-level maps? Would love your input on this. Happy Metro Making
