Strangely enough this works fine on custom maps but it doesn't show itself on vanilla maps when once before it did.

So I'm pretty much at my wits end. What things are this incompatible with? Because this mod was working fine for me weeks ago but now it's not showing up when other custom weapon bases I use work fine and worked fine along with this.

Possibly. In case none of the solutions work, is it possibpe to replace the map txt files found in the vpks files? Also, is it possible to tell me one map you playtested and guaranteed to have custom weapons loaded? (Kinda wish Time to Die was one of them...) I'll do the setup later (i unsubscribed and subscribed again to this mod twice now)

nah, you don't need all them maps ofcourse.

yes it should be above campaigns, because mission.txt files in this mod has custom weapons listed

I didn't tested all maps, some may have like 1 or 2 spawns and script won't reaplace them sometimes

also theres 2 death row versions, the 2018 one may have map names changed from original, hence why script didn't worked.

so i've tried using that version, but it's not what i'm looking for. forgive me if i say this, but i do i need all the maps downloaded? i only have a few of the ones listed, not all of them. and for priority, does this to be at the tippy top or should Custom Weapon Base be above it? (i'm sorry if i'm wasting time but i just wanna play in peace)

maybe that map hasn't too many melee spawns?

this mod doesn't work for some reason. I've placed the mod above in the addonlist.txt, inn the l4d2 folder. It is set as read only, and it appears in l4d2 as the top Addon. Despite that, it still doesn't work. i've tried Death Row (mentioned in the pastebin.com) , but the custom weapons don't spawn (and yes, i subscribed to both Custom weapon base + the custom weapons). Can anyone help?

is anyone else having a bug where custom weapons spawn in on supported custom survival maps fine but broken? like the turret not being placeable, the flamethrower,bow,pipe shotgun not being able to fire etc, with the textures and hud icons still working. it works on supported custom campaigns with no issues.

Ignore my previous comment. It's because a script I was using had updated with a new Lib for vscripts. This was causing some issues with certain custom weapon bases.

For some reason, the custom weapons have stopped spawning in Day Break. Two days ago they were spawning in but now they don't. However, they do spawn in on other maps still.

becasue you need to get the campaign first, search them in Olde's collection
this mod is just adds requred entity on maps for custom weapons to appear
