I found a solution: use a thicker lower layer or a seperate one for the floor part, this way the textures are corrected and you have a collision mesh on the bottom again, I just used a big cirkle for my track to rest upon, doesn't decrease performance that much because its a solid object.

Hey Leo, I noticed when you put the floortiles at a slight angle in blender, they seem to re-appear, so maybe this could be a temporary fix. It it weird that the 'astroid physics patch' did this, but this could be the workaround. (note that the textures may get distorted)

Guys after the last update... the rece track is fucked up, the floor is missing, i hope they will fix this, if not i will try to fix it on my own, please be patient.. :(

Wow, the last update messed up this world real bad aswell, or is it just me? the floor seems to be missing now when you try to play... happened to my save aswell, I made a bug report on the Keen forum here:

Let me know if anyone else has the problem. Its a shame.
Still, great work, lets hope they fix it.

Protip: Make sure your render is as high as it can be without crapping out your pc.
If it's too low, you won't be able to see turns ahead of you beore you take them and will probably crash into a wall.

@Andrew i tested the ships for hours, if the ship it's pristine and you won't pull the Mouse up or down that effect won't happen, but if the ship is damaged, i mean also a block less on the wrong position, then it will become unbalanced and unstable. With one wing less it will fly better because you will have half forward thrust and you won't be able to reach a speed at which it will become unstable. Tell me if your problem persists, all feedback is well accepted ;)

Every once and a while the ship will beguin to bob up and down, and then smack into the track creating a large hole and destroying the ship. I did not press the up or down keys so idk what is going on. I also discovered that if you remove a wing, it sometimes flies better then with both.

My guess would be 2 grav fields going in opposite directions set on those posts in the pics. The pod would act like a superconductor floating in a magnetic field maybe. Only way to know is to load it and look.
