Unfortunately I've long since made a map, and don't have the time to do any of that. My players remember the original and that's what they wanted.

There WAS an updated version released for the official KOTH, however it was apparently pretty buggy. Good ideas though! You're right about it's potential.

This map would actually be a pretty dope Player Destruction map (ei, cooler KOTH).
And while I know this isn't made by you originally, I still wanna say it's a good small-sized arena that could maybe benefit from an asset revamp. Change the theme a bit. Make it your own.
I hear the TF team may be pushing for a space-themed update sometime in the near future, what with them endorsing Bread Space to get added.

This map would look sick as hell as a space-themed arena. Two moonbases as the spawns on either side, and with the whole middle section surrounded by a dome.
