good map, but so disapointed that the boss is way too powerfull even with good stuff and spells. It take too long to kill. and more disapointing....it did NOT save my progress after all... I feel screwed...

Workshop maps used to save progress, but that wasn't intended. So now it is fixed.

after this update, all warkshop map even you complete leave form exit you cant save anything,but is used can,all warkshop map not just yours , sorry i just found

@Goblin Chief, so that what's kept bugging me since I fight this boss. 4 familiar sprites (Except the 2 Skeleton from his shoulder, mostly from every Castlevania).

I know they aren't all that hard to find (well except for maybe 2), but that wall-hitting syndrome shouldn't evolve into a sickness. So i think Hints are appropriate. :summerghost:

I've spoken to Fran just now, he said it is unintended feature right now and a fix will go live tommorow.

So yeah, you shouldn't be able to save stuff.

I picked up 3 final treasures and they were saved in my inventary after I enter final door to complete the map. ohh I made another workshop map after that and when I finished it everything was saved in my inventary

@Goblin Chief actually, after ending your map, my xp was saved and some arrows that i droped too, i don't know if it works for the drop from treasure rooms...

@Blackraider even though there is an exit gate, AFAIK the game still doesn't save the progress for Workshop Maps, so i'm not going to bother assigning any real Rewards either.
If franfistro elects to add the map to "Official Maps", he'll assign rewards as he sees fit.
For now enjoy them elven pantsu.

to Dev, it seems you don't know yet what to leave in the treasure rooms :)

but I finally end the map. on exception for the final treasures everything else seems fine.

@Mattaki, well after you subscribed the map you'll have to wait a bit of a time to download at first. After that open your game client that is Unepic and choose Multiplayer, CreateGame, Cooperative, Non-password or Password, Choose your character, Choose the Workshop maps, Play the map that you subscribed.

Best map around, really awesome boss, wished the rooms were more maze-like. Still didn't find all the color keys but i think i know where to look. Looking forward to that increased difficulty version of the boss, that's gonna be real cool. And don't listen to b4nfter & Carbon they just bad at game and stupid lol. Keep up the good work man really awesome!

You can't save your progress in any Workshop Maps. And it never was said that the Color Keys are dropping from the boss, they are hidden throughout the level.

I've submitted a thread into the Discussions section. All of you are more than welcome to voice your opinions and discuss the ways of balancing the boss encounter in that thread.

In lieu to the release of the "arcade" mode, i'm making an arcade version of this boss encounter with increased difficulty (or more like, the original difficulty) aswell as an extra "Heroic-only" boss phase.

"Heroic: Lord Soulfirius" will be a separate map with arcade mode enabled. You will be starting at the very last available respawn points, your characters will be LV20 and you will be given a predefined set of equipment.

i really agree with Dr.Disaster here, I have a level 20 character and even with immune fire scrolls this boss can hit you so hard that kills you in one hit. there is almost no openings at all, or even none.

don't me wrong, all map is great and even the boss "AI", I must say, its perfect, but its toooo d*** perfect lol. He has many different types of attack patterns, with I like it too, but with no openings to let us attack him its really really hard to kill him.

in my opinion you can do one of three things: decrease the amount of fireballs he launchs against you to almost all of his attacks, reduce the range of his attacks to a smaller area instead of the entire room (if not all, atleast the biggest ones), or make bigger gaps in his attacks so that you can make some "safe spots" to help players get throw them.

Or you can try and have a mix of all this 3 ideas i mentioned here. :p

This boss really needs balancing or at least a few more openings. For characters that have the Fire Immunity spell (not scroll, spell!) he is prolly a piece of cake but for all others he's a pain in the rear.
