Hi, so I recently checked this out and noticed that the "Hidden" areas are overlapping with the "Hand" areas. This seems to make the "Show hand" feature not work properly if you want to disprove another players suggestion.

If you drop the die on top of the Confidential Envelope it seemingly disappears. My friend and I then noticed there were 6 objects in the envelope as we kept having to add another dice to continue the game. Realizing that didn't add up we hit draw from the envelope and three cards plus the three missing dice came out. Might want to put a warning that the dice can fall in the envelope or make sure only cards can be put in it.

PSA: Due to an ongoing bug in how TTS handles smaller decks of cards with the 'Deal cards' function in certain group sizes, it's recommended you physically (manually) deal the cards by hand if you are experiencing issues.

New update: individually added each card texture to a new individual card, and added mouse-over text to each card. So even if a card glitches out you should still at least be able to read what it is by reading the tooltip. Hopefully this will alleviate the issues some people are having until a proper fix can be implemented.

@Afllicted One The game isn't creating a card out of nowhere, it is turning the last card dealt (of the 18 not in the solution) into a blank card. It is impossible for the player who has that blank card to deduce what the card is, of course, without checking the 3 solution cards! So, you see, the game is unplayable both for that player, who doesn't know what card that is in order to disprove suggestions to others, and it is unplayable for the others, since there are now 4 unknown cards (the last blank card dealt, and the three solution cards). I am happy to send you a save file, but have never done that. Please give me instructions on how to do that. Let's start there and then we can go to the developer. Thanks for following up on this!

@David Send me a save file. I still don't understand how the game is magically creating a card out of no where or how one of the cards is missing a texture, it could be an issue with the files not downloading right on your end? If it's just one card it stands to reason you should be able to figure out what the bugged card is by process of elimination, yes? Can I assume all cards are present and accounted for at the start of the game? I need details.

I'm guessing it's probably a bug with Tabletop simulator itself and not my mod, since it started happening several updates ago and I hadn't touched my mod for almost a year before then. Maybe get in contact with the developer.

@Afflicted One We tried again playing multiplayer tonight after your adjustment, and now the last card dealt is blank (no longer a question mark), however the game is still unplayable as a result. Too bad! It was such a great mod before...

@David @dristoph I've looked into it again and pushed a new update, and individually updated each card set. Hopefully that fixes it, but I have no idea. I was never able to reproduce this issue, and I have no idea how TTS is somehow creating an extra card out of nowhere.

If it happens again, please add me and DM me the affected save file so I can properly diagnose this problem.

Last card dealt becomes a question mark still, breaking the game unfortunately. Sucks to find this out only at the end of a long game!

I haven't been able to replicate the issue, either it was a bug in TTS that was quickly fixed, or an issue with Steam Workshop and/or Steam's cloud file storage system.

Does anyone know if the patch fixed the question mark problem described by David below?

This latest update causes the last card dealt to be a question mark. The game is unplayable currently, sadly.

@Afflicted One My family and I have been enjoying the mod a lot so thank you! Besides some of the issues that others have already mentioned, I have a few little quality of life change requests (if possible).
The first would be to remove the "hands" of colors which are not part of the game.
Another is the starting hidden areas for a couple of the colors do not completely cover up the "hand" of that player, which causes some turmoil my very fastidious group.

@Super_ I will look into migrating to a different file host, there have been 5 years of modding development that I need to get caught up on. I will try to do some basic fixes this week at least.

I recommend you update the mod regardless. I've played for 1350 hours and this is the only mod with those errors. If you just reupload it, it might fix some errors.

Also note, many of the issues players are encountering are not a direct result of the mod, but rather the quirks and problems inherit from TTS itself as a platform. I implore you to do your own troubleshooting to get around these issues. TTS offers many tools and creative options to get around problems you may be having. And sometimes using something like a pen & paper IRL is easier for instance.

Notice: An influx of players have been playing TTS due to COVID, as a result my mods have been getting more attention, so I want to make this clear:

Please don't expect regular updates to this, or any of my other TTS mods. These mods were made five years ago, prior to many big mechanical and quality of life changes to TTS modding. As a result these mods are possibly outdated, broken, or obsolete by other community mods.

I have been out of the TTS modding scene for years now, and I would encourage you to look for other versions of these games made by other community members if you experience issues.

I currently do not have much free time, nor do I currently have much interest in TTS. My modding expertise is currently devoted to other games. However, if I revisit any of these projects, I will probably completely re-do them from the ground up and with new models, textures and mechanical implementations that were not previously possible when these mods were originally conceived.

Sometimes others at the table can't see their own cards. This issue has affected my games on multiple servers

Great content thanks. As mentioned by Super_ I intermittently run into issues though with a single card from other players becoming visible. Maybe a general issue with the game itself but I've only seen so far on this content. Thanks!

I've got the same two problems.

1. I can sometimes see other players cards as the host.
2. Notebook sucks so I use a third party spreadsheet.

Hey, as the server host sometimes when people moved cards between hands and flipped them, I could see the card, even though it was in someone else's hand. Has anyone else noticed this?
