Can't believe it took me hours to figure it out. My brain must be going smooth.

Beautiful map. I was a bit stuck since I didn't see that I can easily stop and rearrange the cube after I used the funnel haha. I also thought the solution would become way more sophisticated after the crusher came. . Was about to overcomplicate it but then saw that it had become super easy instead ;-) Would have loved to see a harder 2nd part.
Big thumps up!

really liked the map, exellent in all ways: puzzle, looks and extra gimmicks. I would like the laser cube aim functionality from beemod. This map was released in 2022, so I don't know, if it was possible at that time.

Nice work, took a bit more than half an hour. Stumped myself for about a minute at the end wondering how to get to the new exit before realizing that the fizzler was no longer a problem :steamfacepalm:

For an extra challenge (not really) you can try to get the cube to the end with you. This is the kind of stuff I would love to see in a campaign, it felt very much like a Wheatley test with everything being broken and breaking.

Awesome! I love the art therapy style and this level utilizes it spectacularly! The puzzle is great, the atmosphere is great,...I really can't ask for more. Thumbs up and fav.!

Shut up and take my 10/10.

I almost never give those out, but I’m doing so here, not only for the fantastic puzzle (which I know is Gig’s creation - played the original already), but your extraordinary Hammer work gives it at least 2 extra points. especially the end. I absolutely love little mini-puzzles like that, especially when they’re weaved into a chamber due to some sort of malfunction. It’s particularly special when you’ve already played the main puzzle. Well done.
zigzagtenniscoe 8 jul 2024 om 17:31
It was funny, because I kept thinking you actually made the puzzle slightly harder towards the end of the test - I spent the first 10 minutes just looking around and appreciating the unique style of this chamber, so I think I actually spent more time on this playthrough than my initial run -- but I really don’t think you did, the various surfaces were just organized in a manner different enough to confuse me a little -- but not too much. Which is actually one of the best outcomes you can ask for in a remake.

And then the end came. And it was actually , slightly harder, than the original. :P

Rly nice design! :p2cube: The management of the portals and reuse of the elements was rly clever! Congrats :p2wheatley:

It's really difficult map. 1 hour to solve.

Looking good! :winter2019surprisedyul:
Panda 2 jan 2023 om 4:40
and there I was thinking I was pretty good at portal.... This took me about an hour to solve!
Great map, although I bugged getting the cube to the button!
When the funnel changed direction I was able to push the cube towards the exit door from the far side.
BehindPortal 28 jul 2022 om 2:49
wow what a puzzle. clever and very well designed. its hard to find both combination easily. :steamthumbsup:fav :p2cube: for sure.

@Andy T, apologies for the low performance. I did my best to optimise this map, but given the layout of the puzzle itself, I was limited in what I was able to do.
Andy T 27 mei 2022 om 21:05
Medium, but leaning hard for it piled on so many advanced moves it took me days to string up everything and I still forgot a very simple move. While I do question that design decision I did have fun myself especially that reconfiguring bit at the end. Although Hammer work is a bit overboard I got about 20 FPS at times.
Gabriel Bacon 23 apr 2022 om 20:28
Wow. That was the coolest map I've played in a long time. The visuals & effects were beautiful & fully engaging. The puzzle was fantastic, it was like poetry how well all the elements were tied together. Easy favorite, thanks for making!

Excellent puzzle
racknae 3 apr 2022 om 1:38
I absolutely hate having to blindly aim laser cubes and hope they line up correctly when I actually turn on the laser. Isn't there a modified version of these that show you a guide? Please add that to this map. Really unnecessarily annoying step for an otherwise good puzzle.
SCP Guy 23 mrt 2022 om 9:12
This test was a pain in the ass but its so damn good.
Its a shame that we don't have that kind of things more often.
Rooke 12 mrt 2022 om 15:19
Whoa! That was pretty darn good! Fantastic map and puzzles. That was really impressive.

Amazing map. It took me a very long time to solve. And the ending was pretty great too.

Awesome test and hammer work!
NOT A DOG 25 jan 2022 om 1:34
lol, true.
Λvery  [auteur] 25 jan 2022 om 0:11
@NOT A DOG, perhaps, if I’m rather bored one day, I’ll do just that for fun.
For now, I don’t expect too many people to trap themselves that way (at least, I hope not. Otherwise that’s rather concerning)
NOT A DOG 24 jan 2022 om 23:39
I tried the anti-trapping mechanism just for the lols.
Maybe some GLaDOS lines would be nice while the "stuck" happens, because for now it feels so sudden when the funnel changes polarity.
waghihgaghhhhn 20 jan 2022 om 8:17
nice map ,nice decoratione:steamthumbsup:
Ikemon 17 jan 2022 om 13:37

Хороший тест! :okey:
Λvery  [auteur] 15 jan 2022 om 13:49
@NOT A DOG, glad you enjoyed it! :D
And yes, you did solve it correctly.
NOT A DOG 15 jan 2022 om 3:46
Wow... this is far the best map on the workshop right now.
Awesome work!!!

Here is my solution , i pretty sure i got it right!

If you want to use my recording in your workshop, just go ahead... it would be a great honour
lapicidas 14 jan 2022 om 22:07
Ah yes, now I found the probably correct way :steammocking:
And that anti-trapping mechanism is cool
crhoaviet6 14 jan 2022 om 13:34
Lovely remake of a lovely puzzle.
Λvery  [auteur] 14 jan 2022 om 12:42
@lapicidas, so I just watched your video, and noticed you solved it incorrectly. Skipping most of the actual puzzle. Luckily I know how to prevent this, and I’ll be pushing an update soon.
Λvery  [auteur] 14 jan 2022 om 12:36
@lapicidas, there’s an anti-trapping mechanism next to the laser catcher that enables if you have the funnel going towards it. It’ll reverse the funnel, turn off when you’re in the room with the funnel, and re-enable itself once you hit the floor.
lapicidas 14 jan 2022 om 7:19
Cool map :steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup:
While poking around, the funnel suddenly changed the direction. But I couldn't find the trigger anymore :steamsad:

10/10 would cry again :p2cube:
Andrew 13 jan 2022 om 8:44
great hammer work! there is some weird lighting on the gantry_truss models, but it's fine! The puzzle stumbled me, the original solution had easy final move which consists of just removing the cube from the funnel, but in your version, the grating is kinda complicates that simple move, it's pretty unobvious that you need to stop the cube via grating
The ending sequence was fun, but after such a hard puzzle I tend to overcomplicate things :D Love your work!
quatrus 13 jan 2022 om 7:13
Incredible hammer work - thanks for the link to the original. A real challenge - thanks for hammerizing/creating
jp 13 jan 2022 om 3:59
Fantastic work on a great puzzle! The end is a real cool EE, thank you :)
You made a very good Hammer work that is enhancing the original a lot.
Fav &
I first tried the "cheating way" but => player clip on the exit :P well done :steamhappy:

Great hammerization of a great puzzle. I'm a sucker for these Art Therapy variants.
