But basically what you have to do is go into the mod files under:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\394360\2699224963

I'm not entirely sure if you're going to have the same numbers at the end, but they are the reference I have for HOI4 as 394360 and then 2699224963 is the reference for the USA GUI rework files. If you need help figuring out which mod is which just go inside each file and click on thumbnail.png until you find the rework.

Then the penultimate file inside the custom country paths file is called the descriptor.mod, you can access it via notepad but it's easier with an application called notepad++.

The file is gonna look something like this:

Under dependencies you're gonna add "TNO: Custom Country Paths" so it's gonna look something like this:

Now, IN THEORY, you should be able to boot up the mod and it all works. Note that the AI is going to have an absolute melt down and will be useless with this mod. So unless you're playing the US don't play with the rework on.
If you're curious this basically makes it so that the rework will mandatorily load in custom country paths before itself, which for some reason or another fixes it.

How to fix this problem is to NOT have the TNO: Custom Country Paths mod active at the same time unless you use this fix i found on reddit.

I'm sorry, but the House ruins this mod. It adds an unnecessary amount of micromanagement and worry to the elections, while not actually making anything feel more fun or deep. It also makes it almost impossible to get anything passed. I tried playing as RFK and couldn't get anything passed. I had more than enough senate support, but the House shot everything down. Then, playing as Goldwater, the same happened. No bills would ever pass. Otherwise, it's a great mod. There needs to be some sort of option to disable the House or an alternate version of the mod that removes it, because the House makes this otherwise very interesting mod frustrating to use.

The House keeps unanimously voting against my bills while the Senate has a decent majority in support of it

So a bit of an oddity as wallace, in the house and senate over half the yockeys are voting against repealing the CR act

gui's buggy as fuck lol. pie charts are completely out of position, senate map are all r-ds, no legislation diagram, &c.

This is some serious impressive work you did just to code this whole GUI and that you also had to recode focus trees and decisions to make it work. Great mod.
I have one question though, i couldn't find the file or lines which are supposed to show pictures of presidents on presidential election tab. I'd like to change those and woul appreaciate pointing me to the code :D

@GoodZaa It didn't make the election animation messy because of that? Or it's only for the ai?

If you don't want to wait for the update for the Custom Country Paths compatibility, here you can make it compatible manually with these steps

1. Go to the steamlibrary folder where you install HOI4 on
2. Go to the workshop folder (SteamLibrary/Steam --> steamapps --> workshop) then to the folder named 394360 (That is where the mods for HOI4 is at)
3. Go to the folder 2699224963 (That is where the USA GUI rework mod is)
4. Open the descriptor.mod file with either Notepad or Notepad++
5. Right below the line "The New Order: Last Days of Europe" add "TNO: Custom Country Paths" there (Yes, with quotation marks)
6. Save and that should be it.

**Note: It should mostly works now but I'm not sure if there's anything is broken in the process of doing this.**

Unfortunately crashes the game on startup, no other mods installed. Tried about 10 times. Uninstalled all mods, reinstalled just this mod. Still crashes. Looks like a neat idea though.

I think I know the issue with the silver act but haven't had time to address it due to the fact I was in hospital for an operation, will attempt to fix the issue by next Sunday

Just played an USA game and elected RFK, I decided to slam the door on the civil rights act and then proceed to committee and then finally vote on the bill, but the whole time, nothing changed in the gui, it said there was still no bill in the house or the senate. When I completed the last focus the bill just failed...

I cant pass a bill through the house even though it has support in the senate. Only democrats will support my bill.
