B42 allows you to box up and case up ammo, so i don't know how much demand there would be for this mod now. unless you really wanted to make it just have even less encumbrance.

Pls update for the new arsenal version
Just Leaf 13 mrt 2023 om 2:31
Needs to be updated to work properly with latest brita/arsenal update, it asks for old arsenal mod to be used as dependency

your link to the ammunition box mod is broken btw

@madman_andre (GNU Rick May) i still have the files i updated that fixed the issues mentioned in the previous post. if you want to have a loot at them. the only thing that may not be fixed in my files would be case naming.

@Madman_Andre (GNU Rick May) - Good to see this still getting an update after so long. The inconsistencies with weights always were a bit annoying. There are a few things that seem to have gone unnoticed still, though:

Both 40mm HE and Incendiary grenades weigh 4.0 when packed, but their unpacked stack of 10 only weighs 2.5.
The case of 20 Gauge Shells Case has no recipe to open it, because the 410g Case has both its own and the 20g one. Likewise, putting 10 boxes of 20g into a case produces a case of... 410g.
"Case of .410 Shotgun Shells" should be called "Case of 410 Gauge Shotgun Shells" (no dot in front of the number, and the "Gauge" to be consistent with the other case names, or just abbreviate them all to 410g, 20g, etc. like the base boxes do, up to your preference).
"Case of .556 Bullets" should say 5.56, not .556.

Thanks mate ;)

Oops.
Lemme fix that real quick. (>_<)
Sonov Belial 2 dec 2022 om 0:50
@Madman_Andre (GNU Rick May) Did you changed the mod ID? If so this modification renders old saves generating a red error ( Because the mod now, even if activated, is not recognised as the previous one )

I tweaked the weights of some of the cases added by the patch, but I also went and changed the weights of the Ammo Case mod too. Most of them should be considerably lighter now.

Check the change log for more details.
SeikakuOtosan 27 nov 2022 om 22:08
what changes did you make
Totally Not An Illuminate Spy  [auteur] 27 nov 2022 om 22:01

Also, apologies for the delay.

@franbiren check your profile messages on steam.
Francisconov 23 mei 2022 om 18:02
@SeikakuOtosan any way i can get the fixed version of the mod? im interested
SeikakuOtosan 30 apr 2022 om 3:43
i went in and fixed the errors in the mod myself. and rebalanced the weight savings for both this mod and the "ammunition of box & cardboard case mod for build 41" mod (standardized weight savings to 50% for simplicity) if only this mod were fixed it would only fix the non standard bullets and 40mm rounds. but if the author wants the fix i made get in touch with me.
Viper 28 jan 2022 om 17:29
The weight balance is a bit off and it's already been stated.
SeikakuOtosan 22 jan 2022 om 5:29
heh the other things i have noticed, using this with britas is that 5.56, .308, 12guage and .223 packed in boxes has a weight of 6 which is much heavier than if they were not packed, the closest is .308 which unpacked weighs 5 vs in a box 6
Pamphy 21 jan 2022 om 15:48
Having an issue on multiplayer, 10* boxes of an ammo type is ~7.5kg, but a case is 9kg. is this gonna be a conflict with something else causing it?
Totally Not An Illuminate Spy  [auteur] 1 jan 2022 om 18:15
@SeikakuOtosan For the custom ammo boxes, they're about 33% lighter than a stack of loose boxes, on average.
SeikakuOtosan 1 jan 2022 om 5:00
i would love to put this in my server. but would also like a little more info first, what are the weights of the carboard cases? are they lighter than the loose ammo boxes, same weight, or heavier?
Totally Not An Illuminate Spy  [auteur] 27 dec 2021 om 19:10
Thanks for the bug report. However, this mod touches the Brita calibers.

With that said, I will consider a patch that brings the values of the values of the cases of vanilla ammos more in line with this mod. I'll probably take a gander at it this weekend.
Insane Hexe 27 dec 2021 om 12:11
It seems that only the 5.56 and 308 boxes are affected though
Insane Hexe 27 dec 2021 om 11:52
Its a cardboard case isnt it?
So why do 10 boxes of 5.56 of 3units turn into 1 case of 6 unit?
I kinda expected the mod to make stuff lighter and not heavier
These no use in this otherwise
Sonov Belial 25 dec 2021 om 15:26
Now working as planned. Both links works as per normal ;) S!
Totally Not An Illuminate Spy  [auteur] 25 dec 2021 om 15:21
Thanks for the heads up. That is something new I've learned.

Note for you: Both the links provided above in the description are blocked by Steam if you directly click on them. Both safe ( Checked them via browser ) and they are both safe ( false positive ). Just to let you know ;)
* My guess is that the thing generating the issue are the brackets you added before and after the liinks
