It's timed correctly for me so that means the issue is on your end. See, you need MBWS as a whole, then apply the IIopn patch. Cause MBWS comes with a script that makes sure the sounds work.

Hello, @Kreze. Could you please fix the Python reanimation patch? I have the python folder from the patch installed to my non-vpk folder inside the bms custom folder along with mp5 and spas patches for the IIopn anims. The other two seem to work just fine with no issues, but the python folder just has one reload sound file which seems to be lagging behind the animation considerably in the second part of the animation when Gordon puts the rounds inside the chamber. I have tried removing the patch entirely which did not make any difference, which probably means the sound was not tweaked at all? Or is it because the python folder from the patch is called "python". Perhaps, it should be a different name so the game can read it and replace accordingly?

If you know how to tinker with mods, as in open .vpk files and move a few folders then it should be no problem.

Also, in the patch page you wrote
"This mod is NOT Compatible with other sound mods that change the affected sounds
and mods that change soundscripts or weapon DMX files!"
I don't know what soundscripts is but I'm using BMCE + Chapter overhaul (where there is addition of certain voice lines, dialogue, etc.).

I'm already using this addon and it's absolutely gorgeous!
I would like to switch to IIopn's shotgun reanimation, but can you please clarify a couple things:
- does your compatibility patch work with the IIopn shotgun reanim (it contains a completely different model for the weapon)?

- is it possible to just use that single reanim + your compatibility patch or do I have to install all the reanims for the patch to work well (I haven't downloaded the compatibility patch yet so I don't know if it's a single file or multiple ones for different IIopn reanims)?

- And later I might get tired of seeing the vanilla Mp5 so I might switch to IIopn's version but at that time your patch will be in the custom folder already because of the shotgun (if the compat patch is just a single file), so will I just have to download the reanim file and that should be it?

Sorry if this has been asked already, but is compatibility with Alex's Reanimations possible? I've found one patch for it, but it's incomplete and only replaces the gunshots - not the reloads. Glad to see there are some alternative packs available if not, but I absolutely love Alex's ones. Thanks in advance!

Thank you for such a prompt response! You mentioned in earlier comments that this mod is by default compatible with MTB reanimation, but that comment of yours was dated 12.28.23. Also, the mod description above doesn't mention MTB at all, so is your comment still relevant? Is it still compatible with that reanimation pack?

Amazing work. A criticism of Black Mesa for a while was how some of the sounds used sounded... antiquated or low quality, such as the helicopter flying sounds. Now it sounds thunderous! :steamthis::steamthumbsup:

@gimblegorg Try deleting the corresponding files in the workshop content folders. This includes any other mods related to weapon sounds and ALSO weapon reanimations and ALL their corresponding dependencies. Some chad in another discussion thread suggested this to me and it fixed EVERYTHING for me.

i did the full custom folder setup, gameinfo spaghetti included, but still cant get it to work. tried snd_restart and everything multiple times. im unsubscribed and deleted the sound cache. mr creator sir can u please help?

I noticed a strange sound with the trip mine. In the idle animation, it seems to make a sound like a child laughing. I'm not sure if it's this addon, or if it's a different one. Do you have any idea?
