It's probably not going to be updated. The Build 42 fluid system effectively makes this mod obsolete. You can already put gasoline in other containers like water collectors and other non-gas containers.

it's not "practically not updated anymore." it quite literally hasn't been updated in over 2 years. prolly won't be updated again, the logic's been implemented in the game for a while now.

mod hasn't had an update in 2 years. the main FuelAPI logic is vanilla now. nothing is gonna change here unless someone forks it, which isn't gonna happen cause quicker and easier to just make a new mod from scratch that adds feature X.

please make it so that you can fill barrels using the gas station pumps. it would give this mod a new purpose

@IGNI, You have to go into the sandbox settings and change the % amount to 0 or a very low number. I had this issue too till I changed it to 1% of the total amount of the barrel.

I found a bug/exploit, when I pick up a fuel tank and place it down, the newly placed tank of gas will have a random amount of fuel in it, (in the hundreds of units), this is an easy way to dupe fuel

pretty sure the ratio is roughly 5%-15% fuel to air if adding boom boom to the mod.

Cool addition to have is to make the fuel barrel explode instead of disintegrating to fire depending on how much fuel is in it

With this mod active, I cannot fuel generator from small gas cans anymore :( only from large ones. Also cannot pour gas from small to large and from large to small either. Something broke :(

that's inconsistent with reality. a barrel designed for the purpose of holding gasoline has neither the structural properties nor requisite valving and safeguards necessary to store highly pressurized substances including propane.

barrels must also be able to store propane

I was going off what the Fuel API author states at the top of this page under "latest update:"

"The mod has been updated for 41.72.
Great news, this game patch have integrated most of the FuelAPI logic. This mean that items can now contain fuel without the need for FuelAPI."

now that most of the fuel API logic is integrated in vanilla, is there any actual reason to use this mod aside from the cheat-level unlimited fuel barrels?

Filling the gas cans only works for me when siphoning from a vehicle. I haven't tried filling it with a bottle as that would take too long. What I did was park a vehicle next to the gas pump, siphon fuel from vehicle using gas can, then fill up the vehicle from the pump and repeat.

Will also post this on biancas boxes as I had to do the exact same thing with the metal barrels from that mod.

If you use Fuel API in congestion with Skizot's Carryable Everything, the pick up feature from Skizot's seem to overwrite the limitation from fuel api, leading to deleting all of the fuel inside. On top of that, if the setting inside of sandbox options to spawn fuel barrels with gasoline is turned on, every time a fuel barrel is placed (the barrel item from Skizot's) the game spawn more fuel inside of it. (random each time it is picked up and placed again)

Why cant you fill the barrels directly from the pumps? the large gas can only can take 25 of fuel and the barrels 400, it take literaly like 10 minutes to full a single barrel
