@Khan you can get to the state on the screenshot very quickly and from that you just go through the portal, shoot orange anywhere, stand on the platform, shoot orange back where it was -> completed.

Maybe you meant, that getting to that state is almost the whole puzzle... I actually didn't analyze it fully, I just checked random youtube video after solving the puzzle, and it looked much more complicated (and longer) than what I did. That's why I said what I said.

@Mattchew Ah, thanks man. This map is probably my most deceptive puzzle so far so i can see why you got stuck. Even experienced players had a hard time with this puzzle like Mevious and HugoBDesigner. So yeah, being able to even solve this one when you're a beginner must be difficult. This map was the first one I've Favorited. I played this when I was new, so it completely decimated me. Struggled very hard haha. I replayed this again after a year+, I gotta say this is such a beautiful level. Its all so clever and clean, such a genius cube re-spawn.

Really happy this is the first thing I've Faved, I was even thinking of re-faving it honestly. Thank you for making. This map had a big impact on how I solve and make maps.

@UNDEFEAT i dont really see how that skips the puzzle and i usually dont bother avoiding angled lasers through portals since a lot of people here know thats unintended. And even if i wanted to change the map now, i cant because i lost the map files :/

Nice pure logic puzzle. Solved it with the same method as @ArizonaRunner. I'm suggesting replacing the pit with a goo. Otherwise people might think that these surfaces are part of the solution (as I did). Also, it would be nice to visually separate non-portal-magnet surfaces from portal-magnet surfaces.

very clever I didn't know that you could use the cube respawn mechanic in order to get portals where you want them. I was stuck thinking that I can't move the portal in which the laser is going to but I can. I will definitely play it again to exercise my mind again.

For a chamber within RedSilencer's "introduction to workshop" collection, even if it IS one of the last ones in the list, this felt utterly devious. Wrangled myself in circles with all kinds of back-and-forth shenanigans until I was eventually able to finish and I'm really not sure I'd remember the solution without mistakes if I had to replay!

Really tricky for such a small map... and congrats on the "anti-shortcut" slanted floor, you knew I would try that!! :D

I cheated. Starting from slanted panel area. Slowly backed up in squat position with cube while focusing laser on the laser catcher to keep fizzler disabled. Thus, reaching the button with the cube. Hey, difficult maps require difficult decisions.

Idk, I wouldn't call the angled solution "obviously unintended". In fact, the walls and receiver seem to be perfectly skewed to accommodate it, a little portal correction and it's done. I guess it's more for aesthetic reasons, but it almost feels intentional. Would be the simplest fix too 🤷‍♂️

This one defeated me. I was eventually able to "solve" it by using a very dodgy angle but that was clearly unintended. After checking the solution I played through it a couple of times and it's a very well designed puzzle. Added to my favorites for future me.

it's probably the former but i did get frustrated at this puzzle (and it was like, the first of two chambers i wanted to play today)
still a great chamber, there are a surprising amount of steps involved.
