if Akyets mod works again i would 100% use that as he knows how to code and i know very little
Yeah 'Better Belts' uses a depreciated & now-defunct hotbar API so that's 100% the cause of the compatibility weirdness. Not sure if the mod is still supported, cause i'd love to see it get updated to modern standards & compatibility.
for some reason it gets rid of the bug, i have no idea why it does.... but it do
because i cannot seem to replicate that issue on 41.71
Any ways to fix this?
also note that Sling mod fix\media\lua\client\Timedactions used to contain 2 luas in it that had something to do with equipping the weapon, as i said i dont code so i didnt really understand, but found those 2 files were creating the bug from the original rifle sling mod that would deequip your weapon everytime you tried to attack
so i removed them, hence why they are missing
you can still get the files from arkyets original version in the description above
I would check out Akyet's (the orignal creator) mods and give him some kind words too
