Quality is subjective, but the comparison is with other apartment housing in Europe. Space standards were high, and properly maintained they offered a good place to live. They were not the same as some unsuccessful prefabricated high-rise flats built elsewhere later on, and the complaints largely concerned poor maintenance and problems with neighbours. In our socialist republics such things will be unknown.

Excellent and most reminiscence of a time not quite passed. I do think that the quality of living should be around 75% or so for these.
