i figure out how to play servers with the portal gun sound and that just by playing single player first and then load multi player. i not guaranteeing it always work but it works for me

no, unless you remove the lua that adds the sound

is there any way to make it not play the fire sound?

disable every addon except for this and see if it works. if it does, it's a conflicting addon and then you'll have to find which addon is causing the issue
