@Braum Skull It does, you can access variant A on discord that consumes input or use custom hotkeys (the recommended way).

Is it just me or does using shift+ a number also use or switch to the item in that numbers slot?

@Akudakatsu Still getting meat items into the first extended bar when harvesting, filling a slot and blocking the proper swaps. It doesn't always happen and seems somewhat random. But I'm pretty sure checking the box for a bar stops it from having things auto slotted into it.
And yes the pickup into hotbar is unchecked.

To add to my previous comment, F1 is the button that allows you to use the mouse cursor in the game (instead of using mouse to look around). This key cannot be rebound. Please consider updating the mod to fix the broken control scheme.

This seems like a potentially useful mod which unfortunately doesn't seem to work at all.

With F1/F2/F3 controls it's not possible to use the first bar (presumably F1 gets hijacked by the game or some other mod?), Shift+1/2/3 controls results in accidental item use, and the ctrl+shift+1/2/3 controls obviously cannot work because ctrl is the kick button.

@lottery_in_babylon I wouldn't know as that isn't a function of the mod. This mod works in the background and only adds the minimal UI necessary for the player, attached to the original Shortcut Bar.

is there a way to move the hotbar? make it vertical too? thanks. i hate having hotbars in the center of the screen.

A couple of things I'd like:
1. Do partial swap with empty slots
a. Perhaps ability to disable slots in settings for each bar to avoid check
2. Don't un-wield when swapping other slots only
3. Swap while holding block or sprint or other keys
4. Dedicated key to activate each of 4 bars that's not a toggle (for macro automation so I can map keys to specifics slots in specific bars and have the bars auto-activate)
5. More bars (since I'm only able to use a few slots from each in practice)

Other stuff too that's probably too much to change, like all slots being interactable like the normal 8, able to be bound like normal individually with option for single/double/triple tap/hold so any of the 32 slots can be used with 8 keys.

Any chance of any of that happening?

@Not a Number | Not the fake one! So, I was able to replicate the issue and the new version should address it.

This mod does put useable items into the action bars automatically but you can not swap them in or access them anyhow. This is the issue described by World_Gamerz & TrubbleMayka. Is there any solution to it? We disabled "Put new items to action bars" under gameplay settings already, so this behaivour is very confusing to say the least.

@valkyrja.könig Yes and no, you can use the controller without UI issues but the hotkeys for swapping can only be set on the keyboard.

Does this have controller support at all?

I'd recommend trying to Verify Game File Integrity: right-click CE -> properties -> installed files -> verify integrity of game files. If that does nothing, then you'll have to come to discord so I can troubleshoot this properly, because I cannot replicate this behaviour.

@World_Gamerz I have this issue as well. It's a little inconvenient and cumbersome, to say the least. My 'fix' for this issue is to either remove armor items and put them back on or move items around in my inventory. Sometimes, I have to do both. Hoping a fix comes along for this soon.

this is one of first things i looked for when installing mods, this should be at the top of the most subscribed or maybe even implemented in the game itself

@StepMurp That's certainly a strange issue, and not one I can replicate on my end. I'd recommend trying to Verify Game File Integrity: right-click CE -> properties -> installed files -> verify integrity of game files. Otherwise, it's likely a mod conflict.

I'm having the same issue as Satan below. It doesn't allow me to swap to the shortcut bars or put items on the bars at all. I have disabled and re enabled the mod. Happening to my game since the Age of Heroes update.

@Missinger Try resetting the mod by disabling and re-enabling it.

Each time I try to save a partial bar by clicking on save 1, it tells me i should use mod settings to set all alt bars to their defaults. I did but nothing changed, i cant save my bars anymore. How can i fix that?

@World_Gamerz Was this during a single session or did it persist even after logging out / back in? The former is a game issue that affects a few people and can't be fixed on the mod end, but you can try the solutions below (3 May @ 9:48am). The latter issue doesn't make sense from the mod's perspective, but perhaps there's a mod conflict resulting in that kind of behaviour. If you can send me details on discord I can try to investigate it further.

Love this mod but had to remove it as I had things disappearing constantly. It was putting things in a hidden area that I couldn't get to..
Once I removed it all my items showed in my inventory.. I couldn't figure out why I was sitting at 80% encumbered and rising for no reason(level 32) with only 2 items on my body/inventory.

This needs to be looked at.

@syadow_001 Unfortunately, for whatever reason, controller input isn't being processed correctly by the custom hotkey UI, so either a keyboard nearby or a tool is the most practical solution.

@Satan If by unequipped you mean unwield, that is intentional on swap. But if you mean being removed from the Shortcut Bar to an Alternate Bar, this can be avoided with Partial Swaps. You can use the guide images as a reference for a Partial Swap system.

I have a question about how the equipped weapon is saved when changing hotbar, for example the mod Twin-Bar (Dual-Shortcutbar) v2.0.2 (by Xevyr) when changing the weapon box it keeps the other weapon equipped, but when I change the full bar with mods like this or Building Shortcut Bar v1.5.6 or this mod unequip weapons, this could be inconvenient in combat, is it possible to change this?

@Akudakatsu Okay. I've tried those steps already to no avail. I guess with the ui overhaul funcom did recently they've created a lot of bugs on their end. Hopefully they'll fix something in a patch that'll resolve this issue...

@NoHueManatee Unfortunately, I can't help you as this is a game issue rather than a mod issue. Based on your description the mod is working as intended, however, your game fails to update its inventory. This leads to the confusion of items being stuck and inaccessible, because they're actually already in your inventory, and on reloading your game, you can see your items again.

I can offer you attempts at a solution but they're not guaranteed, as issues of this kind appear randomly, and only for some people (for ex. I can't replicate your game behaviour on my end).
1. Verify Game File Integrity: right-click CE -> properties -> installed files -> verify integrity of game files
2. Reset the mod either by disabling / enabling it through its settings (wait a few seconds), or removing it and adding it back (launching the game in between so this mod isn't loaded for an instance).
If the issue persists, then you'll have to bypass it by keeping your empty slots filled at all times.

Getting items that I pick up (harvested meat, shaleback eggs, etc) going straight onto the alt bars and getting stuck there. They don't swap with the bars and I'm having to restart the game for them to show back up in my inventory. Ditched all other mods and the problem persists.

Yes, it's still a double swap, but it's more direct.
However, it's not just an aesthetic thing, objects are also worn during the swap and I don't like it.

@Blumineon I'd like to clarify, you are still dual swapping, but with your main Shortcut Bar empty, it visually looks like a single swap. If aesthetics is your goal, then your solution is the way to go, but functionality-wise, you don't need to have empty bars.

Ok, I put the mod back and did some tests, I basically have to keep the main bar empty to swap directly

@Blumineon When you have an alternate bar selected as your current shortcut bar, swapping directly to another alternate bar will result in a dual swap, it is intended functionality for maximum compatibility with use cases.

There is some problem in changing the bar, it often changes twice by pressing only once, I thought it was me pressing the keys twice involuntarily or that it was a problem with the keyboard, but the problem also happens when using single keys like 1, 2, 3. I removed this mod, the problem is really too annoying.

@Ecos This issue has finally (though quite randomly) replicated for me; the new version should address it.

Have similar problems as The Salt Lord. Especially items with a long shelf life can no longer be dragged onto the bar. For example, this blue torch or some tools (obsidian) are immediately put back into the inventory.

The mod has the highest priority, but the problem persists even with low priority.
No issues before the update.

@The Salt Lord The mod is working as normal from my tests. Make sure you're updated to the latest version, because sometimes it doesn't do that on its own. You can update all files by right-clicking Conan Exiles, selecting Properties, then under Installed Files, run Verify the Integrity of Game Files .

it is having issues with the new inventory update it seems. every time I swap to a new bar, all of my items get moved back to my inventory

Hello, thanks for the mod. Absolutely needed a mod like this for Conan. Unfortunately I am running into a small problem, I'll give an example. If for instance I placed 30 Healing wraps inside my hotbar than I took them out so I could split them, I am now unable to. Whatever I place inside the hotbar becomes unable to be split. If I log out of the game and log back in I am now missing the item that I was trying to split. I hope this makes sense. I looked at the Mod page and through your Discord and I didn't see anyone else with this problem. I have your mod placed at the very end of the Load order so nothing should be overriding it. Please let me know if you have any ideas for a fix.

@beatle13 Open this mod's settings, and see if the Using Amunets ST checkbox is checked, if so, uncheck it. If this doesn't resolve it, join discord and I can investigate it further there.

Once i have be bar setup with the item i want, and have empty slots, these are then filled in when picking items up off dead NPC or chests this also happens when farming raw materials. These empty slots are filled with these item. How do I stop this from happening.

@HolySins That is interesting, but I was never able to set controller inputs as custom hotkeys for swapping. You can use a keyboard to setup both the alternate bars and the swapping keys, then play with your controller and use the keyboard shortcuts to swap as needed.
