Replace Stuff Mod Compatibility

This is being reported because there is an error in this mod's about.xml.
The <alternativePackageIds> tag used is a tag exclusive to version 1.6.
As this mod also supports versions prior to 1.5, it is recommended that you use the <alternativePackageIds IgnoreIfNoMatchingField="True"> tag instead of the <alternativePackageIds> tag to avoid errors in versions prior to 1.5.

@Gareth ~ Oh, I already rolled this into Replace Stuff ^.^
Gareth  [ophavsmand] 4. sep. kl. 4:54
Sorry for the late replies. I've updated my mod to be 1.6 compatible, but I'm more than happy for this to be rolled into ReplaceStuff going forward :)
Meme Goddess 17. aug. kl. 22:28
I'll be adding the patches from this mod to Replace Stuff ^.^
https://github.com/MemeGoddess/RimWorld-ReplaceStuff/issues/4
󠀡󠀡 17. aug. kl. 22:15

-=GoW=-Dennis 15. aug. kl. 18:32
That would be so awesome, Meme Goddess.
Harbringer2207 15. aug. kl. 16:57
I'll second this, would be amazing for my Vanilla Expanded playthrough
Mestre d'Avis 15. aug. kl. 13:59
@Meme Goddess OMG Please do!
Meme Goddess 11. aug. kl. 13:40
@Gareth Would you like for me to roll this into the Replace Stuff mod itself? ^.^
󠀡󠀡 7. aug. kl. 17:38
i think there waiting for the new Vanilla Furniture Expanded (Security) as there will be lots of changes
Starempire42 3. aug. kl. 19:38
Needs to be switched to the 1.6 version (RIP to original creator)
Ghostmare 24. juli kl. 6:03
@TeamLoad okay okay, my bad. But if standard replace stuff mod works, then maybe you could use it to updating this mod. Only suggestion, don't be angry or something :<
Ghostmare 23. juli kl. 9:50
@TeamLoad Meme Goddess updated Replace Stuff to 1.6. Check it out: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3526354009&searchtext=replace
Yautja 20. juli kl. 19:30
Hey @Gareth , I have made a pull request on Github for the changes to work on 1.6 and the new base mod for Replace Stuff, there were some small issues that I wrote on the request, but nothing that stops the mod from working, I hope it helps you and other people :)
Ghostmare 19. juli kl. 6:35
I guess @Gareth gave up on this one
OneStep 17. juli kl. 11:29

@Gareth the original dev for Replace Stuff has died would it be possible for you to fork his mod and merged your patch with the main mod and continue supporting Replace Stuff
Meme Goddess 15. juli kl. 7:38
@Zerotheliger Oh haha, someone beat me to it ^.^ Yep, I've taken on the base mod and plan to support it indefinitely
Zerotheliger 15. juli kl. 6:47
Ghostmare 15. juli kl. 4:44
Do you plan to update it to 1.6?
Gareth  [ophavsmand] 10. juni kl. 1:47
@Beugle: It shouldn't be. In fact, this mod works on top of (and requires) the base Replace Stuff mod
Beugle 9. juni kl. 12:57
I have trouble loading the mod into my current save, will it be clashing with my other replace mod?
Leutian Kane 20. maj kl. 13:44
please point me to your actual patch notes because if theyre in the descript they have no dates next to them.
Dlitz 17. maj kl. 19:54
❤️
Gareth  [ophavsmand] 17. maj kl. 12:59
Thanks for letting me know. I just pushed an update that should fix that
Dlitz 17. maj kl. 8:24
After the update, a harmony.log.txt file will be generated on the desktop.
Gareth  [ophavsmand] 14. maj kl. 10:01
Thanks to @ignis, a fix has been published for SoS2
ignis 11. maj kl. 4:00
A github link to my fixed version:
https://github.com/quicksilverfox/replace-stuff-compatibility
(I think only sos2 compatibility is broken?)
Röstli 10. maj kl. 22:40
Hi, I had the same issue with ShipInside_PassiveCoolerAdvanced , and it's due to the SoS.xml patch. They removed a couple of the passive coolers from the mod, so the patch should now only include ShipInside_PassiveCooler .
Spiricore 5. apr. kl. 2:26
Would anyone be willing to fork this and patch it for the below mentioned issues? You'd be making a lot of people happy.
-NQ- nick4fake 26. feb. kl. 3:59
Could not resolve cross-reference to Verse.ThingDef named ShipInside_PassiveCoolerAdvanced
ScarlettDarling 26. jan. kl. 15:02
seconding support for ReBuild: Doors and corners please!
CurtimusPrime92 25. jan. kl. 14:15
can you add support for Insulation (Continued) when replacing any wall with insulated walls any wall mounted items either gets minified or deleted currently
sirduck 25. jan. kl. 11:08
you can include the support for ReBuild: Doors and Corners?
CordialVillain 1. jan. kl. 21:33
It'd be pretty awesome if we got an update! Especially for the SoS2 module on my end.
CatMAN 22. okt. 2024 kl. 23:32
Literally doesn't work and neither does the replace stuff mod. Game is actually so annoying to play without the mod. Awesome. Another one of my favorite games absolutely bungled by a single update.
Pasaway 13. okt. 2024 kl. 6:04
This mod throws errors for me:

Could not resolve cross-reference to Verse.ThingDef named ShipInside_PassiveCoolerAdvanced (wanter=items)
lonekyller 9. okt. 2024 kl. 6:18
needs something bugfix or update
Simboulis-PC 12. aug. 2024 kl. 17:18
I dont know if I'm just stupid but I cannot get any luck with using the Replace stuff mod with SOS2 components even with this enabled as all it shows ingame for me is the vanilla materials and gives me no apparent way to replace SOS2 related structures or hulls or walls
AJarOfDirt 2. aug. 2024 kl. 15:38
Is this for some reason incompatible with Rebuild? The lights get uninstalled still for me when replacing walls.
choomba 24. juli 2024 kl. 17:19
@SFH Thx, solves my problems too

Hello just wanted to ask, what could cause this error?:
Mod list: https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/bdcbcf62457dd32692df2a242bcbcf37
Error: https://pastebin.com/aiYah3tN
AJarOfDirt 16. juli 2024 kl. 16:42
Or is this something that requires a full new save to take effect?
AJarOfDirt 16. juli 2024 kl. 15:52
Replacing regular marble walls with fine marble walls still removes the wall lights with this mod...
Lejimuz 30. juni 2024 kl. 2:14
there seems to be an issue causing sos2 hullfoam floors to be impossible to remove with this mod enabled
Just Coda 30. maj 2024 kl. 9:41
@ignis looks like in SoS2.xml you can add
<li>ShipAirlock</li>
right before:
<li>ShipAirlockArchotech</li>

And my guess is it'll fix your issue. I'll respond again if that is not the case.
Just Coda 30. maj 2024 kl. 9:35
Lines 67+68 [?] in SoS2.xml need removed. Specifically:
<li>ShipInside_PassiveCoolerAdvanced</li>
<li>ShipInside_PassiveCoolerArchotech</li>

From what I can tell It's because of two things: it's trying to automatic rebuild on enemy ships (since there's issues about object references on weapons specifically on their "map" also said errors disappear when the "map" disappears), and that during ship combat the mod itself also keeps track of destroyed buildings to replace stuff manually via the click of a button - so both mods try to replace and keep track of destroyed objects simultaneously also creating a cascading object reference error. Which will never go away.

Maybe have some flag that automatically disables auto rebuild on space biomes?
