i get this message everytime i use this for RHS
"Helicopter has not been configured for ACE Fast Roping"

It took me longer than usual to let go of the rope for testing. The results were floating in the air. but after It will return to normal and recur randomly.

Anyone with the issues also have any of the urban/vehicle rappelling mods on? I know those alone have a weird detaching bug sometimes and I've broken my legs tons of times doing that.

I think I fast rope for like the first 5 or 6 meters, and then free fall from there.

This is triggering a thought: I think there's a slight chance the issue could be related to the Enhanced Movement addon

Not that *I* know of, but you may want to dig around on the topic in the context of the ACE3 mod. I think they have Slack channel that's pretty active (IIRC)

Do we have to do something to grab the rope other than actually select them and all the automation that happens next? So, I'm not missing something other than possibly waiting or a glitch occurring?

Reticuli: that's a base ACE3 thing. I've had that as well (before I released this addon). I've heard letting g the ropes settle longer helps, but I remember having mixed results with this
