I released a mod that adds new images for wives and children to family trees. Check my profile or the "recently updated" mod section to see. Much higher resolution. Should work with BI as well.

You can safely save those portraits in a 248x336 resolution (24 BPP), the general portraits have that resolution as well.

Love this mod.

I've been wondering whether it would be possible to display a dead character's traits when the mouse is moved-over their picture?

Or, even to make their dead portrait clickable so that you could see their retinue and traits, when deceased.

I have some epic family-members in my campaigns, and when they die, I get sad as there's no record of their existence, and I can't go and see what traits they had etc. etc.

at age of 14 they still look like 5yo but with 16 they might have a full beard already, kek

@christopherrcolasurdo That was my bad. I had a lot of unnecessary files in the mod folder left over. Thanks for pointing that out. It should be fixed now, and as you can see the mod size has been drastically reduced. Let me know if there are any more issues.
