Correct. This was a decompile that I fixed up and restored faithfully. I was allowed to publish this one.

luca1808: the only binary level we have the sources of is villa gordon (included in the art vandals expansion). there exist so called "decompilers" that can take a .bin file from data/bin/ and export an .xml file and .vox files that will (hopefully) produce an identical result to the original level. this isn't officially supported and has only been done unofficially. as an unwritten but strictly enforced rule, publishing mods that contain content from "decompiled" levels is not allowed without explicit developer permission.

Just noticed, in "The old building problem", the mall is mostly empty even in the current version 1.2.0 of the game, but different. You can check that out in photo mode.

Not that im aware off, people had ways with hacking the game (which im unfamilar with) but It looks the same in the mall and around i'm pretty sure.

As for the things like the fences and shed missing. this was actually me not being able to recover those files, so rip the shed.

Interesting. This seem to be a very early state of the map, even before the oldest version on Steam. A picture of a somewhat later state can be seen in the "old building problem" email, which still shows the parking garage intact in the background. In that picture, the house from "The old building problem" got a fence and the water pump added, but still no flowers, sings or interior. The oldest version on Steam is 0.4.5 (depot 755392188540739651), which got the water pump, a door and two of the signs added and that primitive shed nearby.
Also, the "New stove" and "New fridge" got subtitles there, while in this workshop version, they don't. The barriers from the parking garage are grabable in the 0.4.5-Version, but aren't in this workshop version (unless broken that is).
I wonder what the last state of the map was just before the parking garage was removed. Is there any way to disable this yellow grid barrier, so one can freely explore the map in 0.6.2 (depot 7508456906693476405)?
