Please tell me if there is a mod with a similar base, but adding or integrating the sounds of screams and radio conversations into the standard piu-piu battles of Stellaris?

in all my years of playing the game with this mod, ive yet to hear the "military station lost" sound until a recent playthrough and god was it gut wrenching when i finally heard it the first time. Where was this sound taken from? or was it also taken from MW2?

This is easily one of my favorite mods, I hope it gets some more love soon

The immersion is mind blowing!

This advisor is awesome, probably not what a lot of people are looking for due to the amount of dialogue, but it's perfect for me, spent some time making my empire, sticking close to myself and building up my chokepoints, then a crisis occurred and absolutely crushed me, but during those moments, the constant (and I seriously mean constant, there was no pause) dialogue, panicked radio calls of defeat, failure, invasion, losses, combat starting and ending, losing station after station, holy hell it made getting torn apart so much fun, actually felt the desperation of the fleets I was losing and got a wee adrenaline release to boot, absolutely brilliant

Sins of a Solar Empire 1 and 2 might have some good voice lines to draw off of.

Like engaging enemies using the Kol Battleship's voiceline of "This shall be our Finest Hour.." From Sins 1 would be dope af.

That music idea could definitely work, though that'd be a bit difficult to pull off!

Some other games I was thinking to take from would be:

- Left 4 Dead 2 (mostly the radio chatter at the end of "The Parish")
- Halo (will have to listen for those)

- Black Mesa (HECU units)

- PROTOTYPE 1 & 2

Yep, the hardest part of this work is finding fitting voice lines from other games. I've heard that Halo has a lot of great voice lines, but I've never played it.
In Warhammer 40000: Rogue Trader, in the spaceship battles, there aren't bad lines either. But I guess there's no source on YouTube, and you'll have to manually record them in-game.
By the way, back in the day I was thinking about another mod that would replace the in-game music with static radio conversations. I was planning on making them pretty quiet so they wouldn't distract much from the game and that they would just add to the immersion. Something like that:

I'll definitely look into it! I like what you've got here for sure, and I can think of lots of radio chatter from other games that could be implemented (if i could even find all of them in an isolated state)

Advisor mods are super easy to make. You can use one of the guides in Steam. You can also download the advisor mod from the Workshop and see the structure of the mod on your computer.
It's literally putting the sound file in one folder, and then in a .txt file, write the name of that file for the desired in-game event.
About the update, I was planning on just adding a ton of different voice lines for each of the event, to make it feel more varied and not become annoying so quickly. Though I don't know what the maximum number of possible variations are for each event.

I really like the concept of this mod, though I wonder what was planned for the "Big Update"

I'd like to help make this dream become a reality, though I know absolutely nothing about Stellaris modding to be able to offer my hand. Best I could do is gush about XCOM 2 voice modding haha

Long story short. I was going to approach to update this mod very seriously, but I am unfortunately not an expert in military radio communications. So I found a few people who agreed to help me with it, but they ghosted. This hit my motivation to keep working hard enough, not to mention the fact that I haven't played Stellaris myself for a long time.

Why it say "Big update coming soon™"? That's what I was referring to.

Advisor mods don't need updates.
