Sorry I haven't been on in a while, and I haven't been updating the mod at all. Life... Anyways, if you have another mod that may affect Lucien, it could affect how he comes out. This mod is a bit glitchey, I've done some tests where what happens for you happens, but I'm not 100% sure on how to fix it... It could be any number of things, including other mods.

It won't work fr me. He comes out as a puff of smoke, or he comes out like he did before the mod. Please Help.

@Scorni I am a big fan of the Dark Brotherhood and when i was playing Oblivion and Skyrim the first thing I did was the Dark Brotherhood quest line and Lucien is the funnyest character in all of Tamriel cause i asked him what are the tenents and he did his wierd voice and when i saw Lucien in Skyrim i was upset that Bethesda made a new skin and I don't get it (why is making a new model easyer and not copy pasting the old and better model of Lucien) :P I'm glad that im not the only person who is upset at Bethesda! (Just so you know I was really upset that Lucien died in Oblivion (may his soul serve Sithis and the Dread Mother)) well that's all good luck at collage and my the Dread Father guide your path!

But it isn't finished yet... I still have to retexture the robes. I'm also thinking of putting a table parallel to the one Cicero's clothes are on in the Dawnstar Sanctuary that has a pair of Black Hand Robes for the Listener.
I'm still really new to modding, but I might work on it again sometime in December. I'm a full time student in college, so I don't have much free time atm...

@Bacxaber Waoh, what the fuck, never seen that happen before! I would guess it has some thing to do with his ghost scripts; maybe they're turned off on yours... somehow... I'll try to help you out with that.

@Q! lol! I don't think Lucien would like the listener to parade him around naked, though...

@cease_sphire I've tried opening all of my .dds files that I've extracted from the
Skyrim - Textures.bsa (Which include the mythic dawn outfit and Cicero's jester outfit for both genders for a different mod I'm working on) and none of them have worked on Paint.NET for me. I've read that this is a problem for the most recent updates for Paint.NET . I don't really know what to do now... I've also installed the plugin for opening .dds files with Gimp, and that doesn't work for me either... I don't have the funds or initiative to purchase Photoshop... I'm quite literally stuck.

@Tatical Quall, some files just don't open in Paint.Net but most or all of the ones for .DDS in you texture foulder should.

@cease_sphire Thanks! You're the first person to even try to help me... I've tried using Paint.NET , but it won't let me open the files... I get an error. Have you ever heard of that happening? Also, thanks for the information about that mod, I'll look into that. You've really helped, I can't thank you enough

Use Paint.NET to open up the files. Or I'm pretty sure there is a mod that does change the look of the Mythic Dawn robes already to a simple black. Good luck.

@B2-51 No. That outfit doesn't look at all like the old Lucien's (I've tried it on him)... I was planning on retexturing the robes to black once I find a .DDS editing program. It will be done eventually...hopefully sooner than later.

Do you think you could change his robes from the Mythic Dawn robes to the Black mage robes?

wasnt that the guy that visited me in 2006 when i killed my first person in skyrim then he got me into the dark brother hood, turned invisable and ran away. that was awhile ago

@supermelon928 I raised his armour rating a little, but he's still wearing robes so I didn't increase it much; just enough so that he has some protection.

@ZeroSbr You summon him with the "Summon Spectral Assassin" power you get from Astrid in the Dark Brotherhood. You get that power after the quest "Bound Until Death."

Where do you find him in vanilla? I forget :P

Finally lucian actually looks like Lucian. Well until he was horribly disfigured and killed by the black hand in Applewatch.
