Nah... It isn't steam. Probably, i'm missing something. Other submods are updated correctly, but this one... I don't know... I've checked buidlings, ability names, god, even weapon contact effects which are left intact by the last SFO update – still CTD's, after i download my mod from steam.

Manually deleted it via kaedrin's manager to ensure it would redownload, still running into an unfortunate CTD. Could it be something on steams end?

Ugh... From my point of view, all tables are correct. Even rechecked dependencies from SFO. Don't know what's causing the issue. Tomorrow i will redo it from scratch.

Still getting a CTD with only SFO, Dwarf Phalanx and this submod. Launches with only SFO and the base dwarf phalanx mod, so something with this one is still incompatible :(

Very nice. I've got a bit of an odd one, though - Axe Lord seems to apply just fine to Paragon Guard now, but not to Dwarf Warriors (Spears). Tech at least partially works for both, but it's a bit harder to test by just running through some end turns.

Changes:
-Moved Dwarf Warriors (Spears) to T3 Longbeards Building.
-Moved Paragon Guard to T5 (Yeah, first dwarven infantry at T5) Ironbreakers and Hammerers building chain.
-Small stats updates to the Dwarf Spears

Thanks to the original mod creator @Toumaï AUTORESOLVE PROBLEM IS SOLVED.

For the time being, this changes are final.

@Nawaan @[Project KT-Mod] Grimgor Thraka Changes are far from being final. The issue is "Braced charge defence" passive ability, which toally screws autoresolve, giving the dawi easy world domination oportunity. I can't remove. nor change this ability, since my mod is SUBMOD, so i have to wait upcoming nerfs from the original mod. I've already contacted main mod creator, and he said he is going to look in to it. Till the time comes, i'll try to make basic Dwarf warriors with spears a bit harder to spam to the AI.

Thank you for the Nerf. Didn't bothering using them as they were just too OP that dwarves wiped out all Greenskins, Vampires, almost all Lizardmen and ruling half the world lol with endless armies of them. I think you found the perfect balance now. :) Will test and see. Appreciate the Hardcap. Thank you for all the SFO submods.

Phalanx formation is really strange, a shield bloc reduction for a defensive formation with shields up is really strange. Maybe less base melee defense (without formation) and only a -50% movement speed+def buff and attack debuf (in formation).

@Rocketsocks88 anyway, basic spear version should be nerfed too. Their mass was reduced as well. All I can do to them, not touching stats directly, is adding additional building requirement and moving them to T3 barracks, which would tank AI's ability to spam them from the get-go.

Thank you for the update but i apologize, I should have been more specific. i was talking about the basic tier 1 Dwarf warriors (spears). i never tried the high tier elite spear units because the basic spear warriors are unholy gods of battle, i was able to take Karak 8 peaks and Black Crag in like 10 turns with half an army of spear warriors.

NERFHAMMER TIME!

Not really, actually.
Changes to Paragon Guard:
-Reduced (again) entity number in unit from 80 to 60, leaving HP same as before.
-Fancy legendary status (cyan special unit icon)
-Hard capped at 5. Yes, you can't increase their cap no matter what you do. (Unless you confederate AI army, who has them)
-Moved from T3 Barracks to T4 Ironbreakers and Hammerers building with additional requirement, which should fix AI steamrolling issue.
-Reduced their mass from 1500 to 600 (1500 is too goddamn high. It's so high, that some large entities, like cavalry or monstrous infantry has less weight than pre-nerf Paragon Guard)
-Increased upkeep just a little.

@HangedMark thanks for the great work,but can you just give it a very low unit cap and make it higher tier,or the dwarf AI will destroy all others in the early game and ruined the campaign,thanks!

@Rocketsocks88 I'm really on edge of fully rebalancing them from the scratch (Like totally redoing all unit and entity related tables). Their mass is too high, and their phalanx formation is what makes them literally walking impenetrable wall. Autoresolve is another issue, which is a little bit hard to balance, especially when unit is considered super elite and hightier. I can't find other sollution, except for capping them.

their stats dont seem too OP but in auto resolve they get hundreds of kills each, they make my legendary ever guard units look like beardless Grobi in comparison. im guessing its got to be their "Braced charge defense" perk, because thats the only thing exceptional about them, apart from that they seem comparable to normal Dwarf warriors.

don't know if this is a thing with the main mof or the sub-mod but the "Axe Lord" skill dose not add any stats to the units. just as a heads up.

Amazing mods that completes the Dwarf roster. Utterly and completely unbalanced, kills the game campaign wise, as the AI spams them and stomps everything.

@Dún3dain Next update going to rebalance them a bit. Play tested it myself, and Paragon Guard seems a bit too tanky and effective against pretty much everything. I suppose, it's because of their weapon lenght stat, which allows rear ranks to attack
