It's already been mentioned; But my group and I are having the same issue with the mod failing mid playthrough. Cassettes are now marked with the compass looking icon with a question mark in it. Car cassette players aren't working. None of the mod is working anymore when it worked just fine the first few times we launched the server. Does anyone have a fix?

Thank you for being the superior human being, I was about to say the same and I can't believe it's still not a thing IN-GAME.

Having issues with True Music, added it to MP server on latest v41 build, when I load the server it says that a workshop item is running on a different build... True music was the only addition? (Well and TCCacheMP which was added before True music in the load order)

And idea on how to fix this as True music is a must have for me!

Not sure if it's the mod or not 100%, but the spawn rates have gone crazy since updating. Even when i make loot settings as rare as possible, i still find TONSSSSSS of tapes lol

Is this mod working right now on build 41? I keep getting en error code loading in to my world saying "file does not match the one on the server" regarding the true music mod....

So I have the mod on for multiplayer i found a Juke box and cassette tapes and a boom box I try loading the cassette in by hovering it over the insertion box and nothing goes I tried it in the car aswell and nothing im on build 41 any suggestions?

@DragonLord most cringe comment of 2025. There are multiple good reasons for this mod and the biggest is immersion but you peasant dont understand this.

in the most recent update. this will bring up and error every time you right click. its pretty annoying and it doesnt seem to always want to work

@Nevo: I use it like a TV. Place it, turn it on, and the I drag n drop the vynil in the smal box and it starts playing.

Even better is the jukebox! There one can put tapes and vynils inside and the play in a loop :)

Car cassette players no longer work.

No idea what the others are talking about, I have been playing with this mod for months, on SEVERAL different servers and solo plays,with multiple different settings and other mods and never had a problem. I find casettes everywhere, my car plays them just fine, overall it works great! Only thing I'm struggling with, is how to get the vinyl player to play, but I think its because I only have one speaker...

I think this is pretty bad—I can't apply the MOD to my multiplayer server, and it can't even render properly on vehicles.

B41 but indeed updating the Steamclient.so solved the problem. Both cases were remote servers. Brandon was capable of overwritting his but i had to contact support. Anyway they solved it pretty fast and now my true music addon works.

What version are you guys on? B41 or B42?

Well, the problem of not being able to download any mod on remote server is due to an outdated version of steamclient.so on them. Manually updating it would solve the problem. you can get updated version by installing SteamCMD

I'm struggling to get my addon to download on my MP Server. I keep getting Workshop: item state DownloadPending 0> Fail. It keeps getting stuck on a specific file. I've tried to make multiple from scratch but no luck yet. They are set to public as well.

I've been trying for a couple of hours and the mods seems to work alrgitht, I can find Boomboxes, and all kinds of Vinyls and Casettes, However, none of the cars have casette players, and no matter how many mods i add or take off (ive even tried using only true music) cars don't get cassete players, could someone help me?

блять эти кассеты уже мне как мусор они везде и их много сделайте кто нибудь мод который делает их спавн более редким

Что делать если кассета издает странный звук и не включает музыку целиком?

@Uncle sam I'm having the same issue, no icon and when I'm in a vehicle selecting the media icon it only allows a CD not a casset

@Uncle sam: unfortunatly I dont. I wish I could tell you enything else...When I sit in a car, I press and hold "v". Then a radial menu pops up. There on the left side one should see a cassestte sign, thats what I cklic. The a Cassetteplayer/Radio pops up. Thats where I put in my cassettes by draging and droping them there in the smal box. Then I press play. Maybe we´ll find eachother on the discord over there. I think I posted smth. there too. I´ll see if I will find you there in the discord tomorrow (19th.Thursday). I´ll be on the look out for you. Maybe via speech it´ll be easier to see whats what?
