I apologize but, voice line replacement isn't as easy as just swapping audio files. The audio cannot be longer than the original, has to be named right and mixed to be audible right. It isn't as simple as just saying 'these voices for Francis' instead of Nick. I'm sorry, I just don't have the time at the moment to do a Francis variant.

personaly, i would love to have one of the Hurt sounds be the "ooh mommy" voice line from Postal Brain Damaged. But this is a very enjoyable mod with my setup and I hope to see more voice lines in the future!

Glad to hear progress has resumed. I wouldn't worry about replacing every single line of dialogue, but if you want to, the use of AI like on ElevenLabs or RVC is an option. The tone of the voice depends on what you feed the program, so it's something to look in to.

The problem with AI is emotion and tone. I can't control that to my understanding. It'd be fine if it was like TF2 voice line mixing, cause that's something ya maybe able to get away with. But in this case? I imagine Rick Hunters unique voice doesn't help. I'll do my best in the remastering of this voice pack with only Rick Hunters lines, but I will be at my limit no matter what I do eventually.

How do you make it work properly? I installed it, and nothing happens. Like i uninstalled it and installed it a few times and the mod isn't working

I think I'd just stick to the original if I try this again, cause I never had any luck with AI.

Use AI to do these voicelines, it is way easier now.

Honestly due to the fact I keep having that lines popping once said issue occurring I'm worried about just annoying people infinitely,now that Rick hunter has even more voice lines available in 4 god only knows what can happen.

Can you just do Postal 2's Lines? I would just prefer Rick Hunter if that's okay.

That is amazing news! I just wish I could get this voice pack to work or not, I'm frankly out of ideas on what could be causing the audible popping after lines are spoken, it's driven me to the depths of insanity for many months now.

Rick Hunter is coming back. He'll be a voice option for Postal 4 that you'll choose for free once game exits early access on 20th of April.

An update, I may be close to a solution but it will take more testing, will update if it is successful or not.

I have not been able to find a solution at all yet, nor an alternative program that operates half as smoothly as Audacity, although Audacity has updated recently again so I should test it more.

Here's a good soundboard you can use voices or examples from when porting audio! (As you can already tell, people mainly search for dude for his iconic postal 2 voice)

The pack has hit a problem during development, for some reason all lines I put through audacity now have a pop at the end of them, what I thought was solved twice over by now I have been wrong about. And I can't update further without repairing it, I have no idea why it's happening, if anyone can help, let me know.

4s voice acting is as respectable as the rest, only a fool would actively limit themselves from stuff that would aid in their creation.
