Just a heads up, I plan on giving this character a big update in the future, where he will be resprited once again as well as having his move set more fine-tuned to iron out the kinks of the new rage gimmick and more aggressive playstyle. Yes, I'm doing another resprite, cause I feel the current character's sprites are smaller than I would have liked, and the newer ones are going to be significantly bigger. So I feel it's worth letting everyone on Steam Workshop know all of this now beforehand.

I did not claim you were acting petty towards me. I was speaking in a general sense, as I have seen a certain someone here (not you specifically) leave a negative rating on Exetior simply because I didn't give in to their demands.

Honestly, I think you misread.
In your reply you claimed I acted petty toward you and that I told what to do. That is not the case, was never the intent, and will never be the case.
I simply shared my opinion on the matter and a suggestion. I did not tell you what to do. First of all, I clearly stated uploading the legacy or not is entirely your right. Secondly, as an attempt to cheer you up, I highlighted the fact that you should be proud of your artwork instead of feeling resentment toward the legacy version.
If you still see red despite the clarification, I guess there is not much I can say. There was no bad intention here.

I was gonna make other OCs after Exetior anyway. I was just simply not happy with how the legacy version of this character paled in comparison. If you became an artist yourself, the more you begin to improve at your craft, you too would look back at your old work and realize just how shit you were in the past. Whether or not I want to upload the legacy version separately is my prerogative, and I decided not to do so simply because I don't want to.

If you have a problem with that, at the end of the day, I don't really care. You don't get the privilege to tell me what to do or how I should act, but you shouldn't act petty towards me either simply because I do what I believe is best for my own sake. I'm not uploading the legacy build, and I will start work on my next OC within the next few months. That is the end of that.

First of all thanks for designing this character. While I do respect your work, I cant help but share the same view as others who like and main the legacy version. That is your right to upload the legacy version or not. But IMO, it leaves a bitter taste to those who used the legacy version. That is why Darth Reven is challenging you to make other character. I think you have great skill and can design other characters. For instance, Exetior move set has changed so much that it could have been at least two separate characters. I do not know why you feel resentment toward the legacy version. I think he is great and you should be proud.
suggestion is that, you could possibly implement both versions as one character by using the color panel
Legacy: known for his thoughness , slowness and above all his infamous 3 shoryuken (up strong)
new: known for his rushdown and grappling skills.
That was my humble opinion about this as I thought I could share my 2cents.
