@Doctor Proteus Let me know if you find a mod that does that, I've been looking too. I was looking for a mod that allows for 8 traditions and 12 ascensions, but it required UI Overhaul Dynamic, which screws up my UI.

Does anyone know if there is a version of this without the forced Ascension Perk tech? Or a mod like it? I was mainly just looking for a means to get back the Tradition Slot the devs took away from us by making Ascension require a tradition slot.

What were the devs thinking taking away a Tradition Slot for our Ascension Path. Ascension should have its own tab.

@w.girl27 This works just fine, for some people my fix to allow the ascension selection doesnt work because they have a conflicting mod.

sorry for such a dumb question but what exactly does stellaris evolved break with this mod?
like does it straight up not work or just makes it enforce the dumb select a scension within 7 perks thing?

Still adds 8 Tradition slots, for a total of 16, which I am not interested in, but I know about it. Still appreciate the mod my man

I just wish there was a variant of this with only as many ascension perk slots as tradition slots. Trying to do a MP game but the game feels very restricting with the changes to the Bio/Mech/Telepathy ascension perks, and the newly added traditions

Can we have a version of this that does *not* add a crap ton of ascension perks too and just the one tradition slot, given the ascension path now fills a tradition slot.

If I decide I want more tradition slots in the middle of a game, can I trade the mod I have for the one with more slots? For instance, I have the one with 8 ascension paths, but I find I want 12, can I do that, or will it break my save?
