Понравилась собственная модель пистолета с 23 патронами и бесконечными запасами в рюкзаке. Задание в виде контракта добавляет цели и смысла в игру. Из-за отсутствия сохранений и редких аптечек каждый выстрел должен быть точным. К счастью, сложность можно настроить.

Минус, пожалуй, только в ИИ врагов — они довольно линейные и предсказуемые, что портит атмосферу.

Финал мне показался довольно сложным . Прошёл минут за 20. Однозначно рекомендую к прохождению!

God i hate the npc that you gotta rescue, i killed her 3 times on accident bc she just stays waay too close.

This is AMAZING! It feels natural and the consistency of the ambience makes it perfect!

The only thing is that im left-handed and im having the same problem with both chapters. On the left hand the handgun get bugged and cant play it that way.

@Phial Due to the limitations of the tools, Seth was unable to implement saving without game-breaking bugs on reload. It is what it is, unfortunately. After you get the hang of dealing with Emily, it's not so awful to deal with. Be sure to fully open any door you want her to go through, and walk into her to nudge her if needed.

is there any good reason for there to *not* be saving? Like genuinely. I failed 4 times when escorting the hostage because she decided to run AROUND the kitchen into the pool area and then to the bar, instead of following me, causing me to accidentally prefire her when aiming at the guy behind the damn bar.

since the last update there is a bug at the finale where you have to wait for the car. most of my shots didnt make damage, so i have to shoot 10-15 shots on a enemy (normaly they die after 1-3 shots). Also there are many invisible walls

If you lower it to story difficulty then you should be invincible. Take your time and bait the enemies. You can definitely beat it on an easier difficulty with patience, and then you'll likely find you can play it at progressively harder difficulties.

If I play thru Gunman Contracts - Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 now:
Will I re-play the same levels as a part of in the standalone? / should I play those mods - or wait for the new experience?: Also: I expect the standalone to run on Linux and ALVR too? (Alyx is superb on that)

Finally downloaded 1 and 2 . Really great work-fantastic . I now wish i had done it earlier . Might i suggest making the wrist band game stats permanent so you can store something else in the glove as you cannot store anything in the non gun hand. Also a red dot-laser sight as an option or only on the easy setting. Now i`m chompin at the bit for the stand alone. will definitely buy it. Final note- did you have to make Emily Watts so homely lookin`. She reminds me of a street urchin .

The game is awesome By far epic work ! The end absolute garbage hmm from , Thats why you try and play the games not make them . If you took the time to get creative and realize what you call garage is his blood sweet and tears . so next time go in the side door go grab the gas can by the kitchen and take it out were the end mob spans and shoot it BOOM cant wait for another thank you for you hard time ans work

Great map except for the last part which i'm sorry is absolute garbage, standing crouched while half aiming with enemies spawning right in front of you again and again was not really enjoyable, hope the second act doesn't have that.

Somehow, I can not find any amunition in the game. So after firing 10 bullets from my gun, I have nothing to shoot the enemies. And the guns of enemies disappear afre 2 seconds...

some reason its only giving me stand alone mode. where i can just stand in one spot and kill guys that come to me.

worst part was the constant respawning of enemies behind you

Because only your hands and head are tracked, so if you're crouched even slightly then grabbing ammo from your belt becomes non-intuitive. The next step is for full body tracking so the game will know where your body is at all times and weapon/ammo/item grabs will be consistent. Valve made the right move with the shoulder grab, but I agree it can be annoying. Other games are far more annoying with their inconsistent belt grabs which breaks immersion badly.

Just gave myself a back ache trying to reach for this imaginary backpack that doesnt exist to do something as simple as reload. Why is everything in 2024 complete garbage?

Hate to ask because I’m sure it’s something easy I’m missing. But I’m unable to leave any of the spawn points. My only option is to load in and defend a very small circle while waves kill me. The online vids, my brothers play experience and people’s comments here clearly indicate that the mod allows you to explore the whole building… what do I need to fix to get out of the circle on the ground or not have a arms length boundary to my play area.

So nice, amazing mod. Waiting for the fll game!
