unbalanced wildlife mod

Ended up removing the mod. Even with the custom patch a nice guy here posted they spawn waaaay too often with how OP they are.

These things are cool and I love the design but they are a little too strong in my opinion. They'll take over whichever zones they spawn and they spawn in quite a few. Had to remove after my house in the Hub had the door getting beat down by a group of tyrants.

Arachnids+Aliens!+Tyrants=Perfect Storm.

I made a patch to fix the spawns.

@wardavius that is because this mod and the waste fiends mod share some item names for spawns and nests, so these spawn most places fiends do. If you load both in FCS and change a few numbers they spawn normally. While I was doing that I adjusted the spawns for both to my liking.

Yeah, don't be so hard on yourself. It's alright dude, the mod wouldn't be here without you anyways, so at the least you have done some good work.

You should've just taken your time with it. You can always create a collection page for your Waste Dinos so that every time someone clicks on a Wastes Dino page there'll be a collection link right underneath the subscribe button that then goes to all the Dinos that you've made, will make or making so that no one ever misses a dime on your beautifully done work. You're human it's okay to get excited but this isn't like high school where you gatta get the cool new clothes while everyone else is getting them before it's too late type stuff yah know?

I dont care that the mod author isnt satisfied with this mod anymore.
I love them.
I tamed a eastern tyrant and named it the great hunger, got its toughness to 100 using the deathyard cheese.
Now I gonna fill a stealthy skeleton with health packs and let it follow him while sneaking and healin, cause I gonna the great hunger roam the continent to feed on anyone who crossed me.
The cannibals will cower in fear of the eating one.
My Shek allis will raise their weapons to honor the great maw while its passing by.
The Nobles will shiver in their palaces knowing there is something out there they cant bribe with money when it targets them.
ALL HAIL THE GREAT HUNGER!!!

Dude I love these things. They just ambushed a UC patrol are literally eating it. I had captured a skimmer to tame later, and released it as sacrifice to them, and they tore through it like it was nothing.

works fine for me, just edited the spawns to my preference. I actually made a custom start, instead of man with a dog, its now man with a rex. Made his companion a baby goliath variant of the tyrant. I guess it should be OP right? but then again, the normal tyrants are almost an equal match to the boneyard wolf alphas (Saw them literally fight 1v1, it was very close with the tyrant winning), trade off is they are slower in running and attacking. They are good tanks but if you are outnumbered, same result will occur. YOU LOSE. Its great fun.

It works fine. Its just not anywhere near the quality of my other big mod 'old ironsides'. i received several very depressing dm's from people who downloaded this expecting the same quality and were "very dissapointed" to quote. So im practically disowning it since it would need both a complete remodeling, reanimating, and recoding in the FCS to get it to the same standard. So id need to pretty much completely rebuild it from the ground up which i dont currently have the stomach for.

It seems that people are still using it and it works fine regardless of the author leaving and bashing his own mod. I believe the mod might be fine currently just [not up to the author's standards], whatever that means.

Love the mod but i think you added too many spawn for them... You should have make them spawn only in area where there is Beak thing, so they have some kind of natural prey.

Having found some of them into the Great Desert, near Stoat doesn't felt right.

No, i consider this mod as discontinued going forwards. It needs a complete rebuild to get anywhere near the quality i expect of my work. I wanted to remove it completely but enough people requested that it remain up in its buggy state that i decided to just leave it up. If i get to a point were my life is not a constant mess ill attempt to rebuild it properly.

Oh, finally something I can test myself after beating Tinfist and Cat-Lon and all the other mega mobs, mist horrors, skimmer queens and all other horrors.

Only time I've noped a fight on initial sight of a new enemy. Super intimidating and I love it.

please don't abandon the mod, i'm sure there is a way around this bug. we just have to find it.
