Imagine being immortal in a merchant republic... Even if you aren't the doge/big-boss, the age you accumulate would pretty much force you to lead the nation.

If your game is fully updated and running with newest expansion, run command add_trait immortal and you get it. I believe it's a new hidden quest line.

previous complaints true for me: character died at age 72 a natural death. evidently 72 seems to be a magical death number.

To all of the people complaining, did you start a new game? There is a chance of ID conflicts on games already in progress. If you add ANY mods to a game already in progress it can cause serious issues. If you add mods you really HAVE to start a brand new game.

Mod needs an update. I recomend giving all chars with the imortal trait an anual event which reduces there age by one year thus giving them imortality.

dosent work, still died "a natural death". i just reload the game at last save, (auto save every month) an my ruler is 92 now, all my children are dead, lol.

My ruler still got infirm and incapable. if there was an immortality potion in real life that did that, I wouldn't take it.

My ruler just died a natural death at the age of 72, the mod does make your ruler immume to diseases but it does NOT make him immortal.

I have jsut one problem, if your ruler is incapable, he cant become mortal, which means that im stuck with a incapable king until he dies of a assasination. GG

My King died a natural death at age 72. Unless that was from some hidden plot I don't think this mod works.

please dont post without knowing how its work. Mod uses name spaces for ID ie hist_NAMEOFBLOOD. IDs became numeral only when you load savegame, and may became maessy ONLY when you add another mod during your already started game. So its your own fault.

Another bug: apparently, this mod uses ID 178 for trait of immortality. This ID is used by another mod - Slvrbuu's CKII Cheat Menu. I think it's Dutiful trait there. Dorimi should be more careful.

Would it be possible to give this trait to others? For example, to especially successful vassals? Another problem - childbearing age. If you leader is woman, she can't find a spouse after 40, as she is not of childbearing age. It would be better if everyone would think this person is 25, but still getting the "long reign" bonus.

An update might be needed, also when you declare immortality does your facial aging stop. Or do you just look old for two hundred years?

@pjåtår just an FYI, on the first screen shot, it does show a mouse over tool tip saying you can die from execution, battle or conspirators. As for the natural death and disease.... i would say you have a fair point.

I have it instaled but my ruler still dies. The two "deaths" that happens is natural death and died on a military campain.

Really love the idea though.
