This is not a villagers counter but a total population counter. AoM badly needs a villagers counter.

They added this in because of modders? Well, it's nice to see they learn from the community and improve the game because of it. It's a good mod. I was a little surprised when I started playing that this was in there, since I hadn't played in years before buying the game on Steam to try out the new content, but it's pretty handy to know how much influx of gold, food, wood and favor you have.

This used to be an amazingly useful tool - but with the steam edition tehy added in it automatically. Nothing to see here people.

This is already an ingame option. I've always had the counters, I think you push one of the F keys to activate it.

If it still isn't working, go to the add-ons area within age of myhtology and make sure Villager Counter UI is enabled

(below) You should ensure that the download finished before starting AOM, so make sure the game is closed and in the Library>downloads tab check for a "age of mythology workshop content" download once it's finished start AOM and it should be working

So I thought all you do for getting mods are hit subscribe and then start the game. That is not working so can somebody help please?

Now, if only I could get my villagers to fight the single hoplite attacking them automatically instead of running when there is only one of them.

When you open the game, click the symbol of the steam HOME GAME MENU, then select Ingame Improved UI and click enable.
