nblock It's been quite some time since I posted this map. I sadly do not have the map locally anymore.

There are tools out there to extract data from .gma files and I useally packed custom files within the .bsp. From there you can decompile the .bsp aswell as unpack the .bsp for custom files. If folder names are still retained and I did it back then everything should be in a 'custom' dir within the .bsp data

In the case of this map, I give you (and others) my aproval to decompile (if Valve's Workshop policy doesn't say otherwise) and edit. Just make sure if an edit is posted, that you write in the description the original map name/source.

Decompiling a map, you'll maybe find Tophattwaffle's website usefull,
There should be a quick tutorial on extracting content from .gma files.

Is there any way that you could pm me the VMF File along with the textures or make it public? With your permission I would like to fix the map and add the content you were intending to add.
(- Removing comebine helicopter
- Fixing map exploit
- Changing water color)

Kirrim, try running the game with -dxlevel 90 -> this fixed LOADS of issues for me. Right click on GMod>properties>set launch options, and type in:
-dxlevel 90 -width 1600
Change the width to whatever your monitor width is. The problem with -dxlevel 90 is that your res will reset each time you start it. Adding the -width will ensure that it stays how it should be. The height is worked out automatically. Let me know if this helps.

Special Agent Kirrim I do not know, either gmod is just gmod or somehow maybe I didn't build cubemap. Either way, I will be updating the map at some point hopefully it will fix it.

Getting missing textures on all of the glass windows, some roof tops, the passanger train from HL2, and the floor in the train station. I have CS:S and HL2 mounted. Is there something I'm missing?

Hello there. I run a :gmod: server, and recently we found a massive exploit in this map. If you follow the road around the edge into the water, you can go past/under the invisible boundary wall, an practically fall under the map. From there you can go anywhere under the map. Just thought I'd let you know as I have had to disable it from the servers, but everyone has asked when it is coming back (as it is a popular map on my servers). Do you think you could give us an update soon? :facepunch:
Also the helicopter causes massive framerate issues on some of my players who have average gaming computers or less. Just an FYI. Do you think that it can be removed?

ruthlessharry most likely, I used Counter-strike: source content and Half-life: 2 content. You can try sub and test, if any pink n' black checkers textures show or error models (as in missing content). If so, you can allways de-sub or buy Orangebox/ Half-life: 2 series .

Thank you Mr. White , currently the map is still undergoing attempts of optimization at it's current state, expanding the current world would cost heavily on the frame-rate.

I can give it a try to make a expanded version with I assume you ment a 'driveable sandbox' version, which would require time and better techniques.

I gotta admit I love the atmosphere of this map, is there any plans to build upon this map and maybe turn it into a sandbox map like big city?

as right now this map is heavily reminding me of the early beta maps of HL2 and I would love to have a sandbox map for diving stylized like that.

Designated Kitty 03-052 thank you for downloading this map. Currently I'm fixing with numportal issues (optimization). It isn't AI noded but I'll include it as soon as I'm able to. I will create multiple alternate paths for the heli to take at random an post the update; asap
