i love this mod but somehow the blacklist feature for other debuff from other mods doesn't seem to work after i added to blacklist so i don't see the debuff popup on and disabled from the Basic Terrarian Needs mod,am i doing something wrong?

I'll praise this mod again since I see a lot of criticism. The point is to have a better indicator for folks like me who constantly fail to notice my health is low or I've got some tragic debuff. I hate low health beeps, so this is ideal.

How feasible would it be to have it have a toggleable feature wherein screen color saturation reduces until its plain black and white when below a certain hp%.
Or maybe a feature that instead gives a somewhat static overlay with slight pulsation that doesn't disappear from the screen that just gets more intense the lower your hp is?
Think of like, Hollow Knight's 1 mask left overlay

ID seems correct and works on my end, you might be getting it confused with another debuff since Cal has 2 vodka items

How do I prevent the alcohol debuff/buffs from appearing above my head. I don't know if I'm using the correct IDs. For vodka is it CalamityMod/VodkaBuff because that didn't work.

What do I do if the mod just doesn't work at all?

I just unsubscribed and resubscribed and it just doesn't work at all. Before, I would have the overlay for getting hit, but I would only get the low HP overlay when in a menu. Now I don't even have the hit overlay. is there any information one this?

Are you adding the right IDs into the list? The debuffs you mentioned are "CalamityMod/CirrusPinkCandleBuff" and "CalamityMod/TranquilityCandleBuff" respectively

It would be cool if you added the option to make the debuff tracker and the health bar stay visible as long as you have a debuff active or missing HP respectively. Add a mana bar under the HP one while you are at it.

How could I make debuffs just keep showing above my character and not hide on the top of the left side. I need to know how long the debuff will lasts like poiton sickness and manasickness or even onfire.Debuff keep showing on character can make it more easy to get what it going on. Or ,can you please add a button to set how long the debuff lasts,like"1-5sec,or lasting till it disapper".:steamhappy:

Good to know. I actually didn't know that was an issue. It seems like those lighting options don't use shaders because some other shaders like moon lord's void effect or blood moon tint don't appear either.

It's a pity about the sound, other mods have their effects too loud and I have to turn the volume down, so I can't hear the low hp effects.
As for the overlay I just found out that it only works with the Color and White lighting mode, but not with Retro and Trippy (which I use).

Are they enabled in the config/do you have variable intensity on? Having lower intensity also makes them harder to see.
Also, since the sounds are played through vanilla methods, I don't think its possible. I could allow the sound volume to be adjustable, except they can only be quieter since I've already have them set to max volume. I'll look into it.

Hello, I have a problem and it is that when I take damage or I have little life, do not appear the red borders or anything similar. The sound effects do work, I deactivated all the mods and nothing. Should I do something specific?

On the other hand, is it possible a configuration to adjust the sound of the low hp independent to the sound of the game?

Afaik most debuffs don't have an easy way to group them together, so it'd have to be manual. Easiest way to implement would to just have a sad face for every new debuff with some exceptions.
I appreciate the suggestion however. Don't think I'll make it since I have other priorities (and doesn't really fit the mod) but another mod could pick it up

True, without some workaround, considering other mods' debuffs makes it a pain in the ass =p
Debuff per se was a random take, still to speak of it, you can just use a few 'generic' emotes for specific groups of debuffs, that is, if they have some inherited properties which distinct 'severe' from 'mild' ones.
Sorry if I am talking wrong here, I haven't yet seen terraria API, there's stuff for me to research.

There's an appeal in that, but it seems less useful than the icons themselves. Plus if certain emotes were to show up with certain debuffs then modded debuffs would have a harder time using the system since it requires manual implementation for all of them.
