Small typo I think: In the research tree description it should be "letting gases and liquids pass through", unnecessary "to".
Very cute mod!

The door is solid until it isn't. The dupes are able to pathfind through the "solid" door and the animation of the plastic swaying as they pass through is kind of like the normal airlock opening and closing animations. It's just a very very very fast door.

I'm just wondering how did you manage to make this door if doors in the game are hardcoded to be: solid= false/true. (For real I've been trying to do something like this for so long)

As of the 2024 Packed snacks update it still works.

However its pretty buggy. The game considers it a door for rooms but not for path finding so critters will walk through it, ignoring it completely. It also doesnt have the default/per dupe permissions every other door has. You can set it to lock/auto/open but it seems only lock works for dupes but critters still slip through.

Everything else still works. So head up, just slap a Pneumatic Door next to it in your ranches.

I would love for this mod to get updated to allow using Plastium. Would love to use this as a door to an industrial brick.

Romen already answered, but let me add a personnel opinion:

- Using Mod Updater + Mod Manager will never be a problem, only a source of solution who can help.

It's not "impossible" to have issues with one of theses Mods, but it would be very specific cases, and if the issue would be from the mod side it would be fixed fast because both are use by so many players that it can't be anything else.

I can't even imagine playing a modded save of Oni without both of them to be honest.

Oni is a Great game, one of the best imo, but their in game menu to manage Mods is...

I would say it's a hard requirement to use any mod from the workshop. There is a bug in ONI that downloads old versions of mods that usually do not work for the current game version. Klei updates the game often enough that almost every mod has an old version that could be downloaded. Until Klei fixes their bugs this is the only way I can attempt to ensure that the correct version of my mod is downloaded.

Is Mod Updater a hard requirement, or just a really nice to have you should get it requirement?

Aki's reasoning for it not blocking critters is "Critters can't read the sign".
I might make it an option though.
