@Лютобор the Sakhal sky is overridden, with the custom Namalsk sky. it's maybe too similar to the original so I might add another completely new custom sky one day.

Very high quality work, the skybox is much cooler than the original.

where did the godrays go ?

@ruffaz You said earlier that you could override the sky of Sahal? Haven't gotten around to it yet? Still waiting for your beautiful sky, I use Winter Chernarus, and now there is the sky of Sakhalin :|

Enjoyed this mod a lot on Deer Isle, does anyone know if this works on the Pripyat map or if there are any plans to add future compatibility ?

Banov is still incoming, not sure its supported full time anymore and I'm having trouble overriding it for some reason.

@ruffaz, I really like your mod sir. Do you plan to continue working on improving atmospheric immersion? Maybe you are planning some other mods related to visuals?

I got super busy irl, so no updates for some time. A few changes incoming soon, including sakhal, rostow and probably banov. Some minor bug fixes.


@ThatGuy 1.28 compatibility confirmed, for me locally anyways. There's a lot of servers running this mod, I havent had any other reports of lag. 1.26 weather settings were reshuffled so potentially? Skyz is literally a texture swap, so not probable.


@Лютобор I could override the sky in winter Chernarus V2, but it would be dependent on mod load order which is up to server owner

Is anyone experiencing server lag (red server icon) running this mod? My players are telling me whenever it is cloudy or the weather changes, the server starts chugging. I'm not sure if this could have any impact. Also, @ruffaz can you confirm to us if this is still working on 1.28?

Anyone else having random server crashes caused by this?

The mod for winter Chernarus V2 has been updated, now there is the Sakhal sky and SkyZ - Skybox Overhaul does not work. Is there a way to fix this? I use the Winter DI map, but since it is based on WChernarus, the sky there is now also Sakhal.

I tested this mod on 1.27 and it seems to occasionally crash the server. Will this be fixed sometime?

Hi, on map Bitterroot i just have "normal" grey Sky without visible clouds on high overcast. I think this is just on Bitterroot, on other maps your Mod works fine. Whats could be the problem? Thx.

It causes a black sky anyway, even with skyZ unloaded.

I have conflict with "not so dark night" mod. Night looks ok but in the day time im geting black dome in the sky. Any idea what i could do to fix it?
