Yoo. Don't want to sound cringe but this model has been used in a youtube's video series under the name "skibidi toilet" in its 75th episode. I know that this is a Fallout 4 model but i just care enough to tell you that the 75th episode of "skibidi toilet" contains this model. Have a good day

Looking at the model again, and I see what you mean. I don't have much experience at all when it comes to fixing these types of things so I'll just add it to the list of issues.

Model shows weird lines where i assume textures connect when lighting is placed on it. around the side of the dog

If someone tells me to take this down I'll tell you why if I can. I want answers! lol

I mean, normal props you can't do anything about, and nude models, well, there are none in the workshop so there is no worries there, so most of the time it is the models that can be used without any reworking to remove clothing or something, and well, you don't need to remove things like that with animals and other creatures, and could possibly be a copyright thing, for all I know the owners of the models (bethesda) could have requested a take down of the models, I don't really know for sure. Another possibility is all those models removed were uploaded by the same user, who may have removed their account or just all their content, but the common theory is the rise in NSFW stuff being the reason for their removal.

Yeah but so have many other things that haven't been taken down. It doesn't make much sense to me.
Wolffy 5. juli 2021 kl. 10:21
Well, it is no secret that Dogmeat and other canine models in the workshop have been used in rather NSFW content, pretty I am sure most people know this by now. That could be the reason that 90% of the canine models disappeared from the workshop. I don't think that was too fair if that is the case for those who use the model for purposes other then NSFW stuff, since removing something from the workshop, removes it from your SFM library, but manually adding models downloaded from SFMLab, you never have to worry about that.

That's good to know, I'll keep that in mind. I wonder why models like these get removed?
Wolffy 4. juli 2021 kl. 20:21
dogmeat was in the steam workshop a few years ago, but like almost all canine models, were removed over time, and it wasn't because of copyrights either. There are other external sources you can get models once on the workshop, like SFMLab, which usually has a ton of models from the workshop, but if models are removed from the workshop, they stay on SFMLab. You can find the original Dogmeat model in SFMLab, which has the best rigging, and easy to work with.
