Is this supposed to provide further zoom out capability than the default Promods setting? It doesn't work. Sits on top of everything, first file in my list of mods.

Hi, this compatible with an older version? Logged in after a while and i'm on 1.49 with ProMods 2.68 (Middle East + Great Steppe)

I have tried with a few different load orders including the load order you put below
ProMods World Map Far Zoom
ProMods High Quality Background Map
ProMods 2.68

No other mods but can't load a save without disabling your map mods, any solution/help would be appreciated.

Check your load order since it is made for and tested on ProMods.

It doesn't work with Promod Europe, Middle East, RusMod and Great Steppe

I found the culprit :-) it is the mod Background Map with Flaggs+ZoomFix. If I include that, the zoom is no longer possible...

I have exactly the same order
Today i disabled all other mods except the ones u listed
Still didnt work

The order I have is:

ProMods World Map Far Zoom
ProMods High Quality Background Map
ProMods 2.73 (All parts)

This order works on the latest ETS2 version.
If it doesn't work for you with no other mods then I have no idea why.

I have the mod in the list exactly above the def file of Promods and it still doesn't work

Or do i need the other backround map also ? The afroeurasio one ?

I don't know if it is *every* link, but is sure feels like it. Seems like every link I click has a warning or even a "link blocked message.

Sorry for the intrusion, Dowl. I just wanted to be of some help... while instead you taught me something: I did not know that Steam marked every link as dangerous; weird indeed if not even a bit ridiculous).

As I said before, You must load it above one of the ProMods background maps. These are not the main ProMods map mod but separate mods avaliable here on workshop that improve/expand the area covered by the background map. You can find these in the mod collection in the description above, or at the link I sent (Steam marks all links as "potentially unsafe" even links to their own website)

When your browser shows the page where Steam states that the link is unsafe, simply copy the text https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/workshop/filedetails/?id=2515998576 and paste it in a new window, then press ENTER (or, even simpler, (or click this very link directly from within the Steam app and it will show up here). For what I've seen and as far as I know, there is nothing unsafe in the mentioned Steam Workshop MOD (which, by the way, is from the same author here, known as DOWL, so after all, there would be no point in linking a dangerous MOD made by himself and kept within the Workshop)...

I just tested it with both ProMods background maps (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/workshop/filedetails/?id=2515998576) and it works fine. Are you using some other mods which may overwrite the changes?

Yes, you can always adjust the numbers (and thus zoom) to your liking by editing the \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\227300\2535760651\universal\def\map_data\zoom_uplift_config.sui file.

Hello, just wandering whether it is possible to have a closer zoom mod, which is to decrease the maximum zoom height in the normal world map? I would love to see this since I like to see most city names displayed clearly on world map without overlapping with each other. Thank you!

@caistroud Are you using one of mine or Bengan's background maps as well? This is an addon for those so you must load one of those with this above that to have an effect.

@Fede.Black.Beast. I assume you were loading this above one of mine or Bengan's background maps? If you were it would work just fine.

does this work with road to asia as I a have downloaded it and it doesnt allow me to zoom out any further than normal? Or if you anyone knows of a way to be able to zoom out with road to asia and full promods

No this mod doesn't need ProMods, it can be used with any compatible BG map mods such as those from me or from dOOmERdaZe/BenganJ.

It already works fine with those mods, if you are having issues post your game.log in the forum topic or on Discord and I or someone else will help you fix your issue.

Trying to figure out where I can see it on this page when this will be updated so I know when I can use it and it actually not crashing my game. And that it will work properly with North and South Korea from Road to Asia
