there will be a dlc soon that ads it to the game no need to update if in a couple weeks it will be obsolete

I used the mod you recommended, but it is only available within the Holy Roman Empire and has a lot of restrictions, not as good as yours.

as stated this mod has been decommisioned and will not be updated, i might pick this mod back up at some point

I know, I will eventually pick this mod back up but was unable to find anyone willing to help out and with limited time I had to make a decision so for now it is on the backburner until I have time to completely overhaul this mod. I might use the other mod as a basis and at onto that one

That mod only works for Catholics and too Romantic.
I loved this mod because it have Coronation Tenets it works for every religions.
It's very different mod, and as I prefer to play pagans, this mod was much better for me.

I said it before that it is going to need an overhaul and it is being looked at with another modder that I work together with a lot. No worries its not dead and will be updated at some point this year

Maybe with the update people can take the mod into account again and help you in some way. Interesting things could be done with the new event system of the new DLC.

No it still needs to get updated when I find some time, I will most likely do a minor update so it works but it needs a major overhaul, been hoping someone would offer to help out but so far no one with modding skills offered to help. But I will try to do atleast a minor update soon and then take a look at bigger updates for it later

@The Emperor's Chosen Yeah the mod needs an overhaul, I been looking for someone that has a bit of time to help out with the mod since I haven't been feeling to good health wise and so time is an issue, also still working on a bigger mod at the same time and trying to find time for daily life things. If i dont find anyone to help out I will look at it myself at some point but it takes a bit of time. Right now with the mod it's a hit or miss situation as 1 moment it works and another moment it doesn't

So, idk what the state of this mod currently is. But it seems utterly broken in my current game and I'm unsure if it's a conflict with something else or if the mod is just not working correctly. First of all, the event straight up does not work for my characters. I trigger it, I get the pop ups, I pay the giant price tag, I have a feast, and most of the time, the feast events are broken where instead of text it just says "coronation_event_text.01" or some such over and over, including your replies to these events. Sometimes it does not do that, it's a crap shoot. But regardless, the part of the event where I actually get Coronation never fires after the feast, and I never get the bonus from it. Meanwhile, every single AI king gets the proper buff, but are all drowning in thousands and thousand of Gold in debt due to I assume the Event firing over and over again. (could be other things, AI isn't that smart afterall)

Dont know how it works, other mods usually show just english text without translation. And here it looks kinda buggy. (Thanks for the mod by the way =)

When i add this mod, it doesnt show correct text in decisions, i see them as "coronation_feast.b" or any other commands with underline between words but not text message. Is this localization problems (im playng in russian)?

@firespark84 Yeah there are some bugs that been creeping into the mod with the latest updates even more, it needs an overhaul when i find some time for it

I have noticed that a glitch happens with this mod that causes ai rulers to throw themselves thousands into debt after receiving a king or higher level title (from succession or usurpation). im guessing what is happening is that the event is firing over and over again and they spam accept it which burns through their Treasury. it causes many ai realms that were doing well to collapse from sudden debt spirals.

Updated for 1.8 but I still need help overhauling this entire mod, send me a message if you know how to mod and if you are interested in making this mod better

I have plenty of other mods so it might just be compatibility issue, but the coronation events are bugged right now and don't always fire. That is, I will ask for coronation, pay for it, get a feast, and still stay without a legit crown. I can also have two coronations at the same time by inheriting, using the decision to get a coronation, then choosing to get crowned when the "you just inherited and don't have a crown" event fire. That's a shame, the mod is really great otherwise.

@Real In a way it is yes, I need to completely redo the mod to make sure there will be no conflicts so it will take a lot of time.

@alexandermcginnis Should work just fine, just try it out but keep a backup copy of your save from before using the mod just incase

Has anyone else gotten an issue where, when they use the coronation decision, they have the event for coronation pop up 4 times? I am so confused; this just costed me over 2000 gold because I couldn't escape out of the event window.

@BlackLuck Yeah that is a bug that occurs when you run the dont invite me mod, side effect of that mod running, heard it before

I thought this was interesting and it may help someone else down the line.

When you make a king out of a vassal, they invite you to a "feast" which is actually a coronation. I kept denying it thinking that "Dont Invite Me" mod had stopped working. It does work, but your mod creates a coronation event that the NPC invites you to, as a one time thing (I think).

A bug may be that it announces that * I * have been coronated, but that is neither here nor there...
