That depends on how the planetarium for greed mode works. This mod reads the RoomType you're in to do its shenanigans, if the RoomType internally isn't RoomType.ROOM_PLANETARIUM, then it won't run.

Well the reason we didn't do that is because that'd make planetariums incredibly dumb, lol. Right now the extra choice is there as a pity prize if you get a bad planetarium item, so you don't waste treasure rooms in vain :P

Lmao, that makes no sense. Latest rep patch might've broken shop items but idk? This mod certainly doesn't touch item prices as far as I remember.

Just a heads up Tainted Keeper is still glitched with the Zodiac Item being priced at 99c instead of the normal 15.

Tarluk I have a mod that does exactly that. It's basically this mod, plus Crystal Ball. Never published it because I didn't think the demand was there. Maybe I will.

There is no Zodiac pool, all we have are the items that contribute towards unlocking planetarium, but I didn't include those because it's silly.

This mod has mod support for devs who make new Zodiac signs, but I don't think Crystal Ball quite fits the theme of a room where you only get signs, but alas I can't stop you from making such a mod.

Is it possible to add Vanilla items to the Zodiac item pool? I want to add Crystal Ball as a possible option that can appear on the Zodiac side.

Ah, yeah I mean that's pretty much how it's supposed to work (albeit unintended), same reason why Damocles spawns a Planetarium item from the Zodiac item.

just to clarify i meant you get a choice of two items from the planetarium pool, as opposed to a planetarium item and a zodiac item, sorry about the wording there.

If you choose to re-roll the room with something like the d6, you get 2 planetarium items. I know there probably isn't a way to fix this considering the API but it is a bit jarring.

Well I don't see a reason as to why this mod would be incompatible, I assume the better coop treasure rooms just respawns the items after a player picks them up or something like that, and this mod only spawns an extra item.

might want to check for tainted keeper before spawning the zodiac item, the items for $$ quirk doesn't automatically apply to spawned in items

It's done entirely via lua, not via stbs.

What it does is pretty similar to Damocles actually, it displaces the planetarium item to the left and spawns a zodiac item to its right, now it might get a little fucky if custom rooms add items in the specific configuration shown in the thumbnail, but other than that there shouldn't be an issue.

how does this work for mods that add new planetarium rooms? I assume this would only work on the vanilla rooms?
