Does anyone know the code do get the actual armor in-game? I made one, then sold it in a tight spot, not realizing that once sold you can't make more. I'd appreciate some help.

uhh how do i use the core module? In the armor slot for sparks, it states 'missing allowed class" and the description is "Debug:@design: missing TacticalText in 'TitanCore' template"

@Fawx I just updated the mod with some class and function from Alien Hunter DLC. I suspect that not having this DLC causes the crash. I will revert the update.

Very odd. This mod has always worked for me until now. I get a CTD every time the proving ground project for the laser minigun is completed for some reason. Log files provided no information as to why. At least not to my eyes.

So I believe this can work with iridars give tier weapon overhaul it just requires a bunch of extra config tweakings which I've begun doing however ran into a couple of issues.

@anthinh297, do the weapon unlocks and research unlocks work mid campaign? Because for whatever reason I had configured the research up to not unlock beam and laser tier until those specific research points were done however I found they all appeared in game armoury and not anything in the proving grounds.

Since I use CI/Strategy Overhaul I think I bridge may be necessary. Following 5two by Iridar I think I might have broken it. I really like the models though. Might have to use the 3 tier versions instead and or find correct names for "research" to unlock these 5 versions properly.

@TrooperCoon As far as i know, this mod does not conflict with Iridar mod. You get corresponding tech and the gun is unlocked. The problem is i'm not sure if Iridar used the same tech ID as Long War. If he did, then it's totally fine. If he didn't, you will probably have problems like getting Coil unlocked right after researching Magnetic tech... Technically, it's not game breaking, but i'm affraid these 2 mod don't play along "organically".

You're still sorely misunderstanding what I'm asking(your "solution" is the exact opposite of what I'm actually trying to do), and all this is doing is rolling in circles wasting time. I'll use the minguns, but the armors are being disabled. Thank you for your time.

@Bullseye55 I had an instruction for UC user in the description. If you are using UC, try that solution to see if it works. It seems you are assuming vests and solider's body parts are the same as armors. It's not, armor's default appearance must be assigned. I assign titan cosmetic as the default appearance of Legion chassis, if you want to use non-default appearance you must assign extra cosmetic yourself. I uninstalled UC long ago, so making this mod 100% comfortable to use with UC wasn't and won't be my priority. Hope this help.

From what I understand, I think there may be an incompatibility between this mod and “Unrestricted Customization” in the sense that even with U.C. Installed, the armor still forces the legion set’s defined armor customization onto the cosmetics and prevents saved changes to any cosmetic changes from there.

In other words: This is an Unlimited Customization incompatible mod through a forced cosmetic override that isn't registered.

You're not understanding me one bit, Anthinh. Simply put, in simple terms, this is overriding Unlimited Customization's customizations with absolutely no way to change that(even with that mod's own override enabled so armors don't change cosmetics). I don't want Legion armors to override to a certain cosmetic, and Augments offers a config to disable it on their end so the two mods work together. The thing is, what you're not getting: I'm using MULTIPLE cosmetics for different mechs, so your way DOES NOT work without screwing stuff up just as bad. No matter which cosmetic I put your override to for the Legion chassis, all the other mechs will be just as messed up. You're not getting it.

Simply put, instead of a body change, a statchange with no cosmetic attached option. Look at how LWOTC handles vests, for instance. They add armor/health, but don't totally change the soldier appearance via an override.

@Bullseye55 It seems you don't understand about cosmetic assignment in this game. It's ok. As i said, if you want to use certain cosmetics with certain armors you have to add config lines to "XComContent.ini". Every cosmetic mod does this. When i made this mod i only assign 2 cosmetics to Legion chassis. In other word, there is nothing to disable, you have to add extra config lines to "XComContent.ini". I have no idea what cosmetic you want to use with legion chassis, but if you want to use vanilla spark, go to "XComGame\DLC\DLC_3\Config\XComContent.ini". You can see how cosmetic is assigned to "ArmorTemplate". Copy those line to this mod's "XComContent.ini" and change ArmorTemplate="PoweredSparkArmor" into ArmorTemplate="LegionChassis".

It is very much forced - the appearance of the MEC/SPARK changes upon equipping the Legion chassis, with no way to disable the visual changes....even using Unrestricted Customization, the Legion armor still overrides any other armor or customization on one, leading to issues and clipping.

I don't want to use one type of SPARK/MEC cosmetic to signify one is wearing Legion armor, like what you're saying, as it causes issues. Augments For WOTC does the same thing in forcing cosmetics on a soldier on equip, and there is a disable option for it to stop it from doing that. Your mod has no such feature currently, and there's no way that config is able to accommodate all cosmetics: its a preset which applies to anyone wearing the armor...when all my SPARKS/MECs tend to use unique cosmetics. It isn't an army of cloned mechanoids.

@Bullseye55 I does not force anything. If you want to use other cosmetics with Legion chassis you have to manually add new configs to XCom "XComContent.ini".
For example:

Is it possible to make a config option to disable the forced cosmetic changes akin to how the Augments mod does? Have some sparks set up in which the Legion cosmetics collide rather horridly when they override.

Looks like there's a mistake in X2Item_SPARKCannons.uc which causes the laser tier icon to not show up/give an IMG error. Line 160 is

Template.strImage = "img:///SPARKMinigun_LW.InvIcons.LaserSparkCannon_base";

but should be

Template.strImage = "img:///SPARKMinigun_LW.InvIcons.LaserSparkCannon_Base";

to match the filename in the UPK.

@CommanderShepard153 You can use this mod's contents with MEC troopers. But using titan cosmetic for MEC trooper is extremely buggy because of an overlook from MEC trooper mod. I don't know if the mod author will ever fix this.

@derHenrikD Sorry for late reply. My steam notification is kind of bonker. Highlander has backward compatibility so any HL update is not likely able to break other mod depending on it. It's probably another mod update which is not compatible with this mod that breaks your save. In that case, it's very difficult for me to fix.

@Mr Barlow Ok, i get it. The description is misleading, it only display default value. Any changes in .ini will take effect, they only not show in description.

Strange, if I alter mk2_gunshield hp to a value of ten, the in-game description will note that it absorbs 30 damage. If I change the titan core max shots to 4, for either chasis, it will still shoot 16 times or so which is too much. Either way, love the mod, its no worries

@Mr Barlow I don't know why that happen to you. But there are 2 tier of Legion chassis, Mk1 and Mk2. These two tiers have seperated ability setting in .ini file.

Which in hindsight might have been a mistake, but its my first real playthrough of the game and i didnt understand tiers
