It also just breaks this character competitively lol. Most Multi-hit moves don't work on Darc Sharc, and having to re-adapt the combos you've spent countless hours practicing because he gets sent backwards instead of forwards is frustrating.
It doesn't really have a purpose besides forcing you to change how you play (but once you do, what's the point ?). Nothing about his kit is designed around it.
So, here's my proposal. Either :
1) Make another version of the character without the gimmick, or make the gimmick into a buddy (it could be fun to experiment with)
2) Make it so the knockback change happens only when you're in negative color mode, this way you could be smart about it (use it to recover for example).
This is still a really cool character, I just disliked the forced gimmick.
I know this sounds like criticism, and it is, but it's also a compliment as it just highlights how his kit is phenomenal to the point that having something as funky as reverse knockback feels like a quirk instead of a defining mechanic.
